Finally managed to register for NetBanking and the Bob World app. I actually received the NetBanking registration SMS late last night, and when I tried registering this morning, the process went through successfully.

Yes. FYF RPDC issued with 354 as AMC. That's why i said to block physical debit card and use virtual RPDC for account.

He approached an IDFC branch and was told that the FF account is not being opened anymore. They also told him that FF webpage is removed from the IDFC website.

He then tweeted saying XYZ branch denied opening FF account. He received a call from the bank within a few hours.

BM of the same branch called the next day and said they will open his account. My friend asked him to send someone to the campus, but the BM said that opening the FF account through the tab has been discontinued.

My friend visited the branch about 4-5 days back and filled the account opening form.

Today his account is opened and has been activated. In the IDFC app, the account variant shows 'Future First.' He is yet to receive the physical DC and the welcome kit.

Yup, the scheme is still there. I opened this account recently. I am a 2020 graduate, my college ID card had the 2020 batch written on it. I convinced the guy by saying that I am still a student enrolled in a dual degree from 2020-2025 🙂. It took some time to convince the guy to open this account.

Tip: Rush straight to a young guy in the bank and explain your requirements. I had a bad experience with young ladies, as they were the least interested in my plea. I am not being racist here, though; it is what it is.

I get it opened in tab itself, if they are too hesitant to open the account just tell them to open the Salary account section there you can see the future first for students option still in the tab
