Unexpected Points Received for Amex ?

I have applied for an MRCC card using a referral from this forum. I received bonus points of 2000 points after spending 5k. But yesterday I spent 14K on insurance... today I found that I received another 2000 welcome points. I asked customer care regarding welcome points, they said welcome benefits arent applicable to referral customers. Attaching the screenshots below

I always wanted an Amex Card in my portfolio. MRCC IMO is the best value for money. I can fulfill the 4*1500 transactions per month so MRCC is a no-brainer for me

If you have Magnus then no other card makes sense in my opinion

For referral also welcome benefit is applicable but only 2k points. No referral customers get 4K points. Even I got 2k points from referral and another 2k from spending 15k
