Union Bank of India RuPay Select Debit Card - How to get?

I'm looking to get the cheapest possible RuPay Select debit card since my Amazon Prime membership has expired and I need it as soon as possible.

I was earlier looking to get PNB RuPay Select debit card but when I found that w.e.f. 5th June, 2023, annual charges has been increase from Rs. 500 + 18% GST to Rs. 750 + 18% GST, I'm not chasing it anymore.

Next option available for me is, change my Bank of Baroda Advantage Savings Account (Rs. 2k MAB) to Super Savings Account (Rs. 20k MAB) or Professional Savings Account (Rs. 25k MAB) and avail RuPay Select debit card as FYF and from second year onwards for Rs. 500 + 18% GST.

Another one is, opening a savings account with Union Bank of India which currently offers RuPay Select DC at lowest possible price for annual charge of Rs. 400 + 18% GST. My query is, which savings account variant should be opened to get the DC as from the following link, I can see only high MAB requirement account variants (Rs. 1 lac or more) show RuPay Select DC is available. Someone who has any experience with this, can throw some light on this please?

both are almost similar ... for Professional, you need to maintain Rs. 5k QAB more and need degree certificate as proof to open (as per website)

in both you'll get FYF RuPay Select DC

in Super Savings A/C, amount above Rs. 50k will be created as FD ... known as auto sweep out feature ... I don't know if this feature can be turned OFF or not

rest, upto you which variant you want to open

but won't continue an year later after the price hike in annual fee ... maybe will convert account to Professional Savings A/C and then enjoy another FYF RuPay Select DC ... do you think it will be possible?

if that doesn't work out, will get PNB Elite Savings A/C for RuPay Select DC LTF

BTW this account comes with Visa Saphhire DC as well but in the website it's written that Visa Platinum will be available?

Visa Saphire is Visa Signature only or different coz the executive was showing me the list and there was no option for Saphire. So I asked her to apply for Rupay Select only.

Yes that's good idea.

I've around an year to figure out how to map another RuPay Select DC with same mobile number and email address as I don't want to get another mobile number just for the sake of availing benefits from RuPay Select DC having different card number.

I hope RuPay implements this, that at one point of time, only one RuPay Select DC can be registered on the portal with same mobile number and email address but allows changing the current active card

There could be a genuine case that one lost his DC, gets it hotlisted and requests for another one ... then does RuPay expects that the consumer gets another mobile number to register on the portal for benefits?

Probably you didn't exactly get my point.
I know Rupay Select is there with this account. My question was regarding additional DC which should be Visa Sapphire but in the website (your screenshot as well) , it says that Visa Platinum is available. Are they giving three DCs?

no idea about three DCs thing

on another note, why take an additional DC which will be chargeable, any specific need for taking a Visa Platinum or even Visa Signature DC ?

Any such offers for BoB Platinum Rupay Debit card (it says International, and is grey color). I can't create a login on the Rupay site with this debit card.
