Infinia Upgrade Offer for FYF Infinia metal card

parasf

TF Select
Hi

I have regalia first with pretty good limit.
And this card is LTF

Now I get an upgrade offer of infinia metal with FYF & there after annual fees of ₹ 12500/-

I want to upgrade the card. But annual fees are very high for me. (As mostly my all cards are LFT)

So is there any suggestions to get INFINIA METAL LTF??

Please suggest good ideas

I have sbi simply click, sbi gold, hdfc regalia first, tataneu hdfc, sc reward plus, icici mmt, one card, Flipkart axis, kotak league rupay, idfc first select

Based on this I assume (ignore if incorrect) you're not into much travel, and not much about credit cards atleast until recently.

Go for the card only if overall spends in a year atleast 5L, otherwise big no. As mentioned, the points you accumulate by paying the fee, or minor spends not much to redeem for anything.

So, here are the two difficult to decide suggestions..

- Go for millennia and send mails 2 or 3 times to convert it LTF (even FYF, you can easily achieve or get fee waiver). Doing this nothing disturbs your current lifestyle or think about where to redeem, travel, devaluation etc. A pure statement cashback.

- But doing that you lost the chance to get the upgrade again in future (maybe), on a difficult to get card which may or maynot be restrictive in future.

It took me 6+ years to get this card without any relationship and with Times Card, I can say that taking it changes your spending habits.

So, go with reason or leap of faith.

Let me share my advice or opinion: forget about spending 2-3 lakhs; where you spend is more important. Consider FYF Infinia Metal; I currently have the Plastic Infinia LTF. my limit is 12,84,000. I tend to spend less because it depends on my needs. Spending isn't a culture because money is going out, and we all need to optimize our credit card spending. Please make a table of where you spend and then check SmartBuy. Take a look at Amazon ASV, and Pay rewards are two of the easiest options. Forget about other LTF credit cards; those aren't equal to Infinia. I've been holding Infinia for over 4 years now and received a renewal plastic a week back. @parasf, you seem new to the credit card world, so take a moment to breathe and understand how Infinia works. You do have the option to cancel in 10-11 months if the spends aren't there for a good reason
My credit history is approx 15 years old
So I am not new to credit card world, but I am old (aged person) 😜for new credit cards and it's tnc

Btw thanks for your suggestion

I meet all of this criteria.
12+ years with hdfc - salary account
11L limit on current card - moneyback
I rejected regalia gold FYF for almost a year.

Have 12L PPF Account with them, few FDs as well.

Still no offers for me, not even DCB forget about Infinia.
I think my fault is taking Tata neu infinity as FYF 6 months back, will close it
May be i am wrong
But, I think tata neu infinity is not your fault

As I also take tataneu infinity LTF 6 to 8 months back

Though they offered

Infinia is probably easiest card to justify as you get full fee except GST back in reward points. Hence even spends of 25k per month justify it.
However if you have to think whether to upgrade to Infinia after getting the invite then most probably Infinia is not for you. Please dont take it wrong way - what I mean is - you need to be in the miles and reward points game if you really want to squeeze the value.

However once you get in super premium card game - you will not look back.. thats almost assured 😉

Limit is around 8l
Last 6 months spend is approx 1.5 l
Trv is not more then 1l
How I got this offer, I DON'T KNOW 🤣
actually first hdfc offered me an upgrade of regalia gold, but I didn't apply for that
So now they offered me infinia metal
I think 8l Limit is the min basic criteria for upgrade to infinia. Maybe he got offer on limit basis. Or it could be the crazy hdfc AI or backend team mood swing.lol🤣

How much is your limit
,8+ or 10+or less than 8??

Meanwhile my 7 year of Moneyback+ I keep rejecting the upgrade for FYF Millenia with hopes for something better. And they keep coming back with the same offer every 3 months.

For Infinia you need 8L+ spends in last 6 months and CC limit of 6+ lakhs. If you are satisfying both conditions then wait else upgrade to regalia 1st in case your credit limit is low
