Vistara Club membership with Axis Vistara Signature card opened as Base tier instead of Silver

Received Axis Vistara Signature card around 10 days back.Got mail from Vistara with Club Vistara details.To my suprise they have opened with Base Tier instead of Silver which comes with the card.Have mailed them to correct this

I was provided Silver membership immediately after receiving card.

How do you connect your existing Club vistara membership with the new card ? Do you need to give them a call before activating the card ?What happens if you already are a silver member?

If you are silver member, your membership remain same.

Just active your card & call customer service(Axis Or Vistaara) if required. There is a special customer service phone number for Vistaar silver members.

They will take your existing membership number during your application. Otherwise they will find it in backend by other attributes like phone number, id details etc and then map it to your card. If they cant find it, they will give you a new membership id.

If you already have the same tier offered by card, Vistara will waive off their own criteria.

Unlike Singapore airlines and United Airlines, Vistara has very limited award seats for club vistara points/miles, which you will get by using this card

There are only 2 economy award seats, 2 premium economy award seats and 2 business class award seats per flight, that too not on all flights.

Posters complain that they cannot get award seats on the flight of their choice, which defeats the purpose of having any Vistara card, whether Axis Vistara or SBI.
