The backstory is that I was frustrated with Amex for not delivering the Explorer kit, which I had been chasing for 3 months due to their poor logistics. On top of that, I couldn't activate the Rs. 20,000 spend enablement on my card because of a technical issue on their end. Both issues were only resolved 2 weeks ago, and now one of my cards has been canceled. I did reach out to their customer service and escalation teams several times, but I never requested the card to be closed. It’s really careless of them to cancel it without my consent.
