What can be done, as Amex is cancelling my cards

Hi guys
As in previous post i shared my experience of horrible FR.
Now that they are cancelling my cards is there anything i can do to convince them to keep them.

And for example they cancelled my cards when can I reapply again?

Let it go. If you really want Amex Card again then apply after 6 months. Similar way amex cancelled my cards without even review of financial documents. At first it seemed like i m missing something big but in reality it is not the case.

Can you please elaborate why they were cancelled?
Spends? Vintage?
And how did you got them again?
 
An Amex executive closed my MRCC card without my permission. What are the chances of getting compensation for the inconvenience and having the card reactivated if I file a complaint? Should I escalate this to the RBI Ombudsman ? did anyone else face this issue?

Why would he actually do without your consent? What actually happened?

Give a backstory or some context
 
The backstory is that I was frustrated with Amex for not delivering the Explorer kit, which I had been chasing for 3 months due to their poor logistics. On top of that, I couldn't activate the Rs. 20,000 spend enablement on my card because of a technical issue on their end. Both issues were only resolved 2 weeks ago, and now one of my cards has been canceled. I did reach out to their customer service and escalation teams several times, but I never requested the card to be closed. It’s really careless of them to cancel it without my consent.
 
Return on amex is obviously bad if you want to redeem for anything other than travel.
Even within travel it's great if you opt for marriot. I'm easily able to get more than inr 1 value of each amex point by using them for marriot stays. Recently booked westin Rishikesh for 18k points per night when price on mmt was 40k per night so that's a value more than inr 2 per point. However, we can keep the value at inr 1 for simplicity.

Coming to earning points.
While spending 20k monthly on mmrc purely on gftyr, I am able to get 2k bonus reward points plus 800 points on spending that amount through 2x multiplier applicable on gfytr. In total 2.8k points every month so that's 14% return for me. Mmrc is ltf for me but it's full fee is waived off anyway if you spend 1.5L in a year which will happen for anyone who is spending 20k every month.

Even if someone does no spends on gyftr, they will get a return of 12% which is great
How did you get MRCC LTF? What's the trick?

Hey everyone, Amex has finally restored my credit card and acknowledged the mistake made by their agent. They also apologized for the inconvenience.
