What cashback does apay icici card give for amazon pay merchant QR code?

I used Amazon pay qr code to pay a merchant. Got option to use credit card. Used Atlas and confirmed the MCC as electronics/radio/etc.
Now If I pay the remaining amount to the merchant using apay icici card by scanning his qr code, I get 5% cashback right?

Do you mean the BharatQRs issued by Amazon which offline merchants use? If that's the case, I doubt you'll get 5%. Most likely, it'll be 1%. Please do try it and let us know.

we can't pay with apay icici to QR right? afaik, there is no rupay variant for apay icici

But which app are you using to pay to Amazon merchant QR? Amazon app? It is asking for some serial number to pay

This seems more like payment from Amazon Pay Wallet, so you add money to the wallet behind the scenes and then pay from there is what should be happening in my guess.

Axis has a history of deducting reward points few years/months later for their mistake of giving cashback/reward points.
At times they have gone to the extent of debiting money from cc, equivalent to wrongly given rewards.

It's Amazon Pay Partner Merchant. So you will get 2% cashback for doing payment via Amazon ICICI Credit Card.
