TF Legend
The difference between international lounge access within your country and international lounge access outside your country primarily relates to the location of the lounge and the status of your travel at that point.

Conclusion:

In essence, international lounge access within your country is still classified as domestic access, because you haven’t left your country yet. The moment you travel to a lounge outside your country, it’s considered a genuine international lounge because you are abroad, and the lounge is serving international travelers who are traveling internationally from that country.

Yes, but cards consider both as International lounge most of the time. So, domestic lounge access may not work as expected.

They do not. For example, Priority Pass usage is chargeable with most cards within India whether it is at a domestic terminal or an international terminal. Lounges are listed separately based on terminals like Encalm Lounge domestic (terminal) and Encalm Lounge international (terminal). This is no different than Encalm Lounge Terminal 1 and Enclam Lounge Terminal 3. All lounges anywhere in India are treated as domestic lounges. Only difference is that free alcohol is served in international terminal lounges. That's just an amenity.

Let's keep the priority pass and credit card benefits distinct:
When considering priority pass usage, an "international lounge" refers to any lounge located outside India.
If your credit card offers only domestic lounge access, you can attempt to use it at an international terminal within India. While some cards may work, others may not; however, most do.
Lounge providers such as Priority Pass, DreamFolks, and DragonPass have their own policies and criteria, which may differ from those associated with credit cards.
The key is understanding where your lounge access balance is deducted. Sometimes, simply swiping your credit card is enough, and the lounge access balance is deducted from your DreamFolks account because they are the ones providing the lounge access, not the credit card. The credit card merely facilitates access to your DreamFolks balance.

In the same way, can we swipe the dreamfolks card at domestic lounges in India? Or, like Priority Pass, we should not swipe dreamfolks card within India?
