Which bank offers Rupay Select Debit Card

Shreyasrp

TF Select
VIP Lounge
I want Rupay Select DC as it can be used for international lounges too.
I have account in HDFC and Axis but then have max variant of Rupay Platinum.

Which is easiest to get ? As I will have to open new bank account in that bank
Union bank currently found the easiest one..❌
Edit : Canara Bank ✌✅

Canara Bank is the easiest. Go to this link, authenticate and then select (Domestic / Global >>> Visa / Master / RuPay >>> Card Variant >>> Card Type)

It's pretty easy. Just click confirm and voila!.

I found PNB to be the most hardest. I was issued a MasterCard, yeah MasterCard on 2017~18 time. It's quite useless as it's linked to my Loan A/c and I don't use it. But, I wanted to upgrade the card to RuPay Platinum. There is NO section for online upgrade. You can only do a "service request" which doesn't work at all. And RuPay Select is for HNI customers only, can only be issued in branches.

Now they don't issue MasterCard Debit Cards. Only RuPay NCMC (Classic + Platinum), RuPay Select, Visa Platinum, Signature etc.

I'm surprised they offer Visa and Master Platinum variants, even though I haven't tried.

I also forgot. You can use Canara ai1 app for apply and it's easy as hell. Even ICICI bank is more work compared to this. Just one button and placed. Annual fees idk but my guess would be around 1000 Rs for RuPay Select?

Platinum is 245 for Visa / Master / RuPay
Standard is 145 for Visa / Master and RuPay

Talking about my experience in PNB. I just raised a new debit card request (previously holding classic Rupay) and surprisedly they delivered me a rupay platinum card. But the card is still not visible in the app.
I think you need to maintain Around 10k(Not official ) to get this card from them. But still, this totally depends on PNB's mood and what card they will offer .

Yeah this is the huge drawback 🥲
Also possible, some banks dnt provide International lounge access because lounge access cost is shared by NPCI and issuers and issuers have an option to not provide the benefits if they want.

Another thing is that some banks mostly PSU banks disabled RuPay card International POS/E-com transactions for security reason but International ATM withdraw working.

3rd thing, RuPay International cards are dual network cards - 1st network is RuPay and 2nd network is Discover/Diners club/Pulse network.

Most banks are still not enabled Discover network for RuPay International debit cards, for example SBI Bank - You will find a flood of messages on twitter, people are complaining SBI RuPay Discover International debit card is not working outside India.

I think only RuPay JCB debit cards are working perfectly outside India.

contact PNB bank, your card is not linked with your account, they will fix it.

How did you raise that request... I have 24k per month (for EMI) in PNB SB A/c and holding a MC
In the mobile app, Goto Debit card -> Apply for new debit card -> will ask for profile password
after that It will raise request. One more thing to mention,I was previously holding Rupay classic debit card.

You can raise it through PNB bank visit. Specially mention them you want Rupay platinum. But this depends upon the branch person if he will be able to raise for RIght card or not.

My PNB One app says "Cannot place request. call xxxxxxxx for more info. TnCA apply etc etc"
I can't got to branch as my home branch is 1000 of kms away lol
