I have generated Firstap debit card but I see that the limit provided is 1L and that would essentially mean that I can't make the transaction for more than 1L a day.
Also, when I tried making 1L payment on my HDFC CC using PhonePe, it didn't allow for some goddamn security reason. Any insights?

Yes, some phonepe account showing security error wait 48hrs or contact phonepe support

Does IDFC charge fees for FirstTap Rupay immediately or sometime later? I have had the card for 2 weeks now and so far no charges deducted from account.

Wait max 4 months they will debit the fee. This is one time fee no annual charges.
