Which ICICI Debit Cards to keep with bare minimum yearly fee ?

I have physical debit cards without any fees from last 4 years. (Titanium debit card)

I also have Titanium Visa Debit Card. I used to believe it's LTF. But a few days back CC confirmed me that it's FYF and has a Annual change.

Yeah! For Salary Previlage (Or Higher) it's LTF.

The interesting thing is when I added this card to payzapp its showing as wealth management lol

U can but if it happens to change pin or change device to upi then u need dc and grid in icici
{Always yearly once clear all unused non revenue dc and cc}

Grid is needed only on using Web page for any banking needs. If you are using Mobile Banking app then Icici DC is going to pretty much collect dust after maybe 1 use to activate the Mobile banking(Maybe not used here too). I have an old Silver savings account which has DC free. Now silver account has actually been discontinued. So not sure if they will charge me for DC this year.. MAB is still 25k.

The ICICI DC Grid is such a harebrained idea! My SB account with them is left virtually unused because of this. I don't use iMobile.

You mean from within netbanking where I had entered using my username and password to start with ?! That would be amazingly weird indeed!

That's Right . I have tested it. DC not needed if you use iMobile

Today BM and RM came home to open account for me. I told them I need Family 360 a/c. The RM told me to give 1L cheque over phone, but BM said not needed and I can fund after the account is opened through UPI. They will open my a/c for now and then open wife's and dad's accounts in a few days to connect to my ID apparently. They brought a/c opening kit with Visa Platinum DC and didn't say what the charges were. I wanted Rupay Platinum and the RM was like we can block and ask for new card later. All these will be chargeable right? How much are the yearly charges?

I got Platinum Rupay So now I am not thinking about the gird issue.

But my insight is:

1. You can transfer money without Grid Using imps.

2. Can transfer money to any UPI ID from ICICI Official App without any UPI PIN.

I haven't tested any merchant.


So if anyone here is thinking of one can transfer without Debit Card. The answer is You can.
