Which phone are you currently using?

I have nothing phone 2 I bought it last December which costed me around 30k. It comes without charger. It's original charger costs 2k so I bought a charger which costs me way too less.
Now come down to device usage my genral SOT in normal days is 7/8 hours. I put my device.in charging for around and hours.i move out at for work at 9 and I reach home at 8 and battery of my device still left around 35-40 percent. And mostly I use my phone in office( sales job).
It's a 5G device but I don't use 5g reason being reduced battery life and poor call quality of 5g in my area.
Camera's of this device is not too good not too baad sometimes it good sometimes it's bad. Night level photography is good.
I have 12/256gb black colour. Never lagged once. I played BGMI/ GENSHIN IMPACT/ COD both runs smooth and don't drain battery easily.
In hand feel of this device is also good.
I bought this phone for a daily driver I am heavy user so I needed a device which flagship and cost effective with no bloatware.
I rate my device 9/10.
Question to flagship owners:

1) How long do you use them?
2) Because there are perfectly well working phones in 20k, 30k, 40k ranges, Do you feel obligated to buy them because of social status, or any other reason?

95% of apple users buy for social status. And most of them are irritated for the lack of some basic features🤣🤣
Everyone says iPhone is for status.

I've seen many who buy it to get that status as the sole reason.
But I've never seen anyone who gives that status to them.

The thing to ponder. If everyone is taking who is giving?? 🤪

no bro I have both iphone 15 pro and samsung s23... I barely use my samsung... Iphone 15 pro takes 30 minutes to charge to 80% and then other 30 minutes to go from 80% to 100%... then u got this feature in iphone where your iphone will only charge till 80% to save battery health... I have that feature on so my iphone charges till 80%. I charge my apple watch and iphone before sleeping usually around 9 pm cause I wear my apple watch to sleep and man the next whole day even after using my phone for 7-8 hours screentime minimum, I am left with at least 30% battery in my iphone and 50% in my apple watch... but the thing is it depends on what u r doing on phone and ur settings, for example if u let applications run in background it will consume more battery, dont close the main apps again and agains like on iphone dont swipe up on apps which u regularly open because each time u open them they will take time to load and consume more battery.

Budget phone - Samsung Galaxy M34, gotten last July for NFC + Samsung's extra customization options and features, because on my earlier phone from Motorola from 2018, all banking apps had stopped working and no updates offered. After seeing this phone's bad performance, I can only recommend Snapdragon-based Samsung. Never buy Exynos or Dimensity. Samsung's bloated One UI doesn't run smoothly enough on these SoCs.
I am usig M33 5g.. It is okay...
which samsung has snapdragon with 6,000 mah battery and under 20K ?
M 35 is coming soon, unfortunately it is also based on Exynos

S23. The battery backup is average, but I absolutely love the phone for its compact size and performance.

The problem is, compact phones preclude longer battery lives these days, since that is still achieved mainly through brute force, -- with humongous batteries.

Used to be possible even with the less powerful compact mid range phones of a few years back.
.

Now the strategy changed..
Buy android phone around 15 K..
Use it for a year or two and exchange it..
Rinse and repeat..

This way my average cost per year is about 8 to 10k

But where do you get rinseable phones in that price range ? 🙂

Yes I almost went for M33, since it has solid reviews and no issues reported. Was skeptical of M34's OLED display since many phones with OLED screens from any manufacturer seem to get the vertical line issue. Then went for M34 due to OIS also added for the main camera, even though the SoC is the same slow Exynos of M33. Technically it gives no issues but I've too many banking apps loaded on it 🤣 and some of them feel sluggish.

Sadly, there's no good Samsung with Snapdragon that's reasonably priced (as you may have observed too), they are all overpriced 😥 And while I can afford a Samsung Galaxy S series also, I always go for budget ones because companies sort of force us to upgrade phones by obsoleting software every 3-4 years or it slows down to the point of being unusable. Or something in the phone breaks down and doesn't work correctly. It's a very fast depreciating asset so somehow I don't find my money's worth in spending more than 40K on a phone that's going to only be relevant for 4 years. I would rather buy a gaming laptop worth 1-1.5L.

My first smartphone was LG G Pro 2 (28K from Amazon in 2014), 2nd Lenovo K5 Pro gotten from AliExpress (2018) and now M34.

🙂 I was just joking, by taking the word "rinse" in the literal sense!

Such samsungs typically go only for ~30k and above.

I have problems with the current range of heavy phones. Motorolas can be lighter, but not easy to procure in a small town. Service is another worry.

yahi dikkat hai samsung ki. Bohot acha phone hoga to 50k ka hoga. Mid range hoga to slow chalega (Due to poor optimisation of exynos, cost savings tactics in India). Snapdragon denge to late denge bohot jab tk phone ki bezatti ho chuki hogi (Samsung galaxy S20 FE).
Samsung lena hai to FE series thik lagti hai, S21FE with snapdragon but still uska bhi battery life is not very convincing. Ab samsung premium demand kar raha hai pehle ke comparison me.
Samsung with powerful processor are always costlier. Realme GT series is a huge winner in terms of performance with economical costs.

I've been using an Ifon 13 Pro cuh it was 75k in Dubai and it's been around 2 years i've been using it as my daily driver

Everything feels the same it was on day 1 of using the fone even the battery health has only dropped to 88% which i personally think is okay
I don't use much of the pro features got it because it's a top end apple product and it just works also the resale value for this is bare minimum 45k rn

To answer your other question Ifon Pro and Macbook Pro (not even acknowledging iOS 18 continuity update) - it just works, anything you would want your devices to do it will do it with minimum hassles and i know that bhindows and android (not just samsung) integration is also at decent level rn

Such generalizations can sometimes be problematic. I have seen midrange Exynos powered Samsungs that run cool as a cucumber, while Snapdragon powered Redmis can run red hot!

Buy any phone, but make sure it’s IP68 water and dust resistant. Trust me, i used to have Pixel 4a before this. It got busted in rain, even though i kept in in my raincoat pocket.

Currently using iPhone 14 Pro and it’s a tank. After using Android for last 11 years i would definitely say iPhones are lot better overall in terms of build quality and software.

Using GOOGLE PIXEL 6A right now.

Previous one is GOOGLE PIXEL 4A.

I prefer Pixel phones for exceptional camera quality.
Since I use my phone for testing a lot Apps (126 at the last count), I prefer Pixel phones which come WITHOUT any bloatware or any brand-specific-customization.
