which whey protein supplement/brand you prefer or use

Having tried ON whey, it does bloat.
So i was being open for some new ones
Any suggestions?
point is bloating happens bcuz of type of milk..mainly what is fed to cows..fillers additive etc..and amount of lactose..
try isolate lactose free 90% one..with unflavoured..u wont get bloat

Hello Everyone, I've tried both Naturaltein and Beastlife isolates. While Naturaltein was effective, it occasionally felt heavy and caused gas. Beastlife, on the other hand, is a different experience altogether—it's much lighter and has a great taste. At Rs 3000 for 900 grams, it may seem pricey, but if you're on a budget, consider consuming a smaller quantity rather than opting for cheaper whey products. Cheap whey can be potentially harmful to your health and even dangerous.

I have been consuming ON (red & black container) for more than 2 year for now, never bloated.
I hope you bought it from verified merchant. As being the best seller, copy product is readily available.🤞
You can try whole truth one, I haven't tried but known people told me it's good. I wanted to try that but ON had been my comfort zone so far.
Last time when i bought ON weren't selling directly, so i bought it from HealthKart.
ON was perfect, was not too heavy and tasted amazing(chocolate).

You should use none if you love your kidneys. 🫡
0 studies show protein powder causes kidney issues. Old desi precaution not backed by science
There are many studies that show excess protein intake (from any source) is bad for kidney, but that is like half a kilo of protein daily 😆

ignorance is bliss, ain't it?

Hmm yes indian express articles written by some random doctor without any specific studies mentioned.
Why do I bother going through meta-analyses and science papers when I could go through good ol indian news articles.

Also the (stupid) article doesn't contradict a thing that I said. Protein powders themselves don't affect your kidney. If you take 500 gram protein powder daily for months, you'll get kindey issues. If you get 500 gram of protein from chicken daily for months, you'll get kidney issues.
Protein powders themselves aren't the cause here, net protein intake from any source is.

Just found this thread.

I've used almost every (legit) brand. Avvatar was the best tasting and gave me no gas.
Nakpro and XLR8 are the cheap ones, when my monthly expenses are high I buy these. But XLR8 gives me horrible gas 😆

At the end of the day, protein is protein. As long as there are lab tests proving that they aren't amino spiked, they are good enough. I don't see the need to buy expensive brands like Muscletech etc. If you like a brand flavor and it works for you, that's great.
Agree with you.

500 gm protien is really high, its like having 20 litres of water is unsafe too but that does not make water bad is it? , 1.6 - 2 times body weight is what I try to consume.

When it comes to buying supplements, I explore both offline and online options. Sometimes, I find that old stock, which is nearing its expiry date, is significantly cheaper. I just need to manually check with the sellers.
Try netmeds, offline shops
