Will my credit score get affected

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the credit card world.

I tried to apply for a HDFC cc online...It showed me 3 cards but the card I wanted to apply was not there, So I came out of the process.
Ater that I received a Sms that my Cibil score was checked.
My question is if I try to apply for a card again in online . Does the bank will make a hard credit score check again?

Also If i try to apply for a card in another bank and they will also check the score.
Will that affect my Credit score, if that is the case then how much it will get affected on average?

I'm new to this forum, incase if i didn't followed any template please pardon me.

Yes there will be a hard inquiry on applying a credit card for whichever bank but if you upgrade you card AFIK there is no such hard enquiry on cibil.
Do nor apply many cards on a single month as it increases the credit Enquires resulting in decreasing the credit score

Yes HDFC does a hard enquiry again.

Yes Other banks will do a hard enquiry on you CIBIL if you apply for credit card or loan

Your credit score does get affected by multiple hard enquiries in short period of time as it shows you are credit hungry
