Year End Offer: Lifetime Free HDFC Bank Credit Cards

I'm seeking valuable suggestions regarding my credit card scenario. I'm interested in DCB/Infinia, but HDFC denied my upgrade and limit enhancement (LE) requests. Although I received a limit enhancement five months ago, my current limit is ₹4.18 lakh. I currently hold HDFC DCP and Tata Neu LTF cards. If I close both DCP and Tata Neu cards and initiate a fresh application, what are the chances of getting a DCB card? Notably, I have other cards with limits exceeding ₹10 lakh. I understand that no one can predict the outcome with certainty, but I'd appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

Do you fulfil the salary eligibility criteria for DCB......or have an existing savings/salary relation?

I had an 'anything is possible with HDFC' experience just a week back. I hold 3 HDFC cards (Reg Gold, Diners Privilege, UPI Rupay). I applied for HDFC Swiggy card in Mid Dec which got rejected. Sent an email to HDFC to reconsider hoping it would be rejected. As a last ditch effort I applied for Neu Infinity on 31st Dec (LTF offer last date) and to my surprise It allowed me to apply. Behold, 2nd Jan Swiggy Approved, 4th jan Neu Infinity approved. So I set out to get swiggy got both swiggy and tata neu.

I remember when I got my first job and HDFC made me jump hoops to get my first CC.

Note: I made a mistake denying LTF DCB a few years back when I was new to credit cards. The trauma is real 😂

Hi Everyone,
I am an existing HDFC User having Regalia card. I got the LTF offer for Neu Infinity and it got delivered today. Nowhere in my digital application or card brochure is it mentioned as LTF. Any way to know whether its LTF or not before card activation.
Thanks

You can call CC to confirm (record the call ofc). In my experience, If you have some proof of it being LTF. For eg (Offer screenshots, an LTF banner during application) you should be golden even if there are any issues. I received an email about the LTF DCP Floater card however I applied via my RM's link (didn't think much about it) and the card was paid, sent an email to support with the email screenshot and it was converted to LTF.

For tata neu Infinity, I took screenshots of the application page where it displayed the Annual/Renewal Fee as NIL, just in case there are any issues.

I called cc to check, he confirmed me that its LTF. When I asked for an email, he told me to drop a mail to cards team. I am awaiting a written confirmation..Only after that I will activate the card.
