Yes Bank Grandeur Account - HNI Account

TF Buzz
Hi Everyone,

So I recently opened up the Yes Bank Grandeur Account and the process is effortless. I received an Instant kit while opening the account.

I registered on the portal and punched in my details and the next day I got a call from the backend and they fixed up a meet with RM.
This account can be opened via different ways but I opened by giving a check of 5L to open it. I gave them the Cheque on Monday 10th, June. It hasn't cleared yet but it has been lodged in my account.
A nice touch to the onboarding process is they brought a plant as a gift of Onboarding(see image below).

The INSTANT kit came in a Satin bag with all the contents within.

The contents include:
1) An introduction letter

2) A letter with debit card attached
3) The Yes Grandeur Brochure
4) A 5 Pages Checkbook.

5) A Mastercard World Debit Card

Benefits of the Grandeur Debit Card:

1) 500 Yes Rewardsz on activation
2) BOGO at BookMyShow
3) Domestic Airport Lounge Access
4) 5% Cashback on Utility and Groceries
5) Zero Markup on Forex transaction and Mastercard Exchange rates
6) Additional Swiggy and Zomato Benefits ( Unspecified in Brochure)
Additional Benefit:

This account makes you directly eligible for applying the YES bank Marquee credit card with no Income Proof Documents. Only catch is it is not LTF, still have to pay joining and annual membership fees.

Eligibility:

  • Average Monthly Balance of ₹5 Lakhs OR
  • Net Relationship Value of ₹20 Lakhs OR
  • Basis Loan Relationship Value

The eligibility criteria can include AMB/NRV maintained by your family, provided they are categorized in the same relationship.

1. Average Monthly Balance (AMB): Average of daily closing balance for the month = Summation of daily closing balance/Actual number of calendar days in the month

2. Net Relationship Value (NRV) will be calculated by aggregating the Average Monthly Balance across Savings and Current Accounts, Fixed Deposits value, Mutual Funds, Insurance premium paid and 25% of Demat holding with YES BANK

My Experience:
Overall I feel that the overall experience is really cheap on what you get in the INSTANT Kit. Other HNI accounts from private banks like Axis, IDFC felt like an experience. I have only got this account only for getting the Marquee card as I was not eligible directly. I have applied for the card and will be updating soon on details.

Whoever has successfully opened their YES Grandeur account can you please confirm what do you see in your YES Iris app? Currently my account shows “Savings Account Pro Max” and nothing is mentioned about Grandeur.

I already hold a UNI NX Wave Credit Card by YES Bank due to which when the Yes Bank person tried to open my Grandeur account online they weren’t getting an option for Grandeur. Hence I had to apply via offline application. I’ve given ₹5 Lakh cheque but now I’m worried whether the person has opened just a Pro Max account and not the Grandeur account.

Is the Grandeur account applicable only for NTB? Since I already have UNI NX Wave CC I don’t fall under NTB category unfortunately.

That's definitely not grandeur.

On main page above account number
It's written granduer

Did u get kit ?
Did u login via debit card?

Even for old customer it should open as granduer
Bcz it's not a upgrade but a account variant ( not banking program)

Thanks for confirming. I haven’t got the welcome kit / debit card. It’s expected to come within a week. I was going through Yes Bank’s website and found this (attached). It seems like Grandeur is actually a banking programme like HDFC Imperia / IDFC Wealth.

I didn’t receive the instant kit as the RM wasn’t able to open my account via online method / their phone since I was not NTB due to holding NX Wave CC by Yes Bank.

This is what I see in my Yes Bank Iris app

UPDATE:

I received my welcome kit and it was of Grandeur. I can confirm that Grandeur is a program and not an account variant. My welcome letter mentions my account type as "Savings Account Pro Max".

When I login into the net banking portal I do see the "Grandeur" logo on the top left side of the screen and the dashboard's theme is gold coloured however my mobile IRIS app still doesn't show Grandeur status. Maybe it's bugged or maybe it's because I had already logged into IRIS via my UNI NX Wave CC.

I've applied for YES Marquee CC, hopefully it should get approved soon.

try app uninstall and install.

The most weirdest part is that the IFSC code that I've received "YESB0001450" isn't even mentioned on Yes bank's own website and neither on any IFSC code info website. The branch that's mentioned on the cheque book is available on Google Maps but its listing on maps was created 3 weeks ago. There's no mention about this branch anywhere on Yes bank's website. I almost thought I was scammed by some high level thugs but fortunately when I added the IFSC Code via my IDFC bank as a payee it showed up as a valid IFSC code. Phew
