Yes Bank Reserv + 3X Subscription Plan

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new card to complement my Infinia. The main goal is to increase the rewards rate for a few lakhs of donations towards NGOs (both Indian and International). BOGO on movies, and rewards on rental and UPI transactions will be great to have but not necessary.

I recently came across the YES Reserv card, along with the 3X subscription offer for all spends. The following is how I see the reward rates:
  • 9% Points on Online Shopping (except on Select categories)**
  • 4.5% Points on Offline Shopping (except on Select categories)
  • 2.25% Points on Select categories
Assuming 25 paise per RP redemption rate, for flights and hotels.

The 9% rewards rate seems just too good to be true. Can anyone confirm? If it is indeed true, then why is this not the most talked about card for Forex transactions?

P.S: I don't mind paying the annual fee given the rewards.

Axis Atlas or Yes reserv for collecting miles? Any one suggest. I have almost one lakh spends every month across categories
If you spend 7.5 lakhs in a anniversary year then the return is 6% for nearly all spends if you count 1 Air mile(after transfering edge mile to transfer partner) as 1 rupee for atlas(bonus 2.5X if you spend directly on airline website or hotel websites). For yes reserve with 3X it's 4.5% offline and 6% online.

Oh.. 6% id you consider one rupee per edge mile? But if we convert to Air miles it is 1 edge mile is 2 Air miles so in this case 12%??

Sorry if I misunderstood

3 edge miles are given per 100. I considered 3x2=6% as value back in Airmiles.( only on reaching 7.5 lakhs spend or else 4% value back). You doubt was valid I updated my previous to clarify.

Hello, Got approved for Reserv FYF, didn't see any 40k spend requirement for FYF in the application process. Supposed to receive it today. Can anyone share the closure team email which can help make it LTF? Over here or on DM.

After reading the discussion here and keeping in mind my usecase, not really convinced to activate it unless they make it LTF.

Is there any way we can check how much points we got for each transaction? I spend approx 80k+ and received only 5110 points in the statement.
Which seems ok. Only 12 points per 200 will be shown. 12 points added later for online when statement generated. If you have any subscription plan, that will be shown after month end.
Also no way to see points per trnx

I got the card last week and I activated it immediately and later realised that atlas is better than yes reserv for miles. So i dropped an email to cc to.close the card. So the question is since the joining fee is not billed on my card, will they straight away close the card or will they ask me to pay any joining fee on it before closing

Don’t use it, they will convert to ltf. Drop a mail to escalation

Unfortunately I used and paid also for some 500 rupees
your card is activated and you need to pay joining fee.

1. Should've verified reward rates and redemption options before apply (multiple posts in this forum also mentioned possible reward options), this card not for miles.
2. Shouldn't purchase or activate new card if wants to close immediately.

You missed both points, hope you'll get good rewards this year during renewal you can cancel. For now, consider subscription plans and pick best one as per you need if you want to use the card, anyway its FYF with more than joining fee paid back in points.

Thanks. That clarifies the base and online bonus structure. I am more interested in subscription points cap. Using 5x, so about to reach 75k cap. Would the cap reset after statement or only after month end? I want to know if anyone tested it out ?

@Harry1 may clarify more (I didn't breached this limit after dec' changes) but as per above post

P.S. 36000 limit on 24/200 category is calculated only on card bonus 12 points, so transaction limit per statement cycle is 6L instead of 3L. I did just over 3L transaction and I got just over 18K bonus points. So, u can get potentially 36K regular and 36K card bonus and 72K subscription bonus on spend of 6L online spends per statement.

assume its per statement which matches mail response, so worst case consider and proceed.

Didn't test the subscription bonus part. But I think both mean same thing, as calculation is based on calander month and credit is based on statement month. So, even when they say 75k per statement cycle, it is essentially per calender month.

I got a call from nodal officer that my card will be converted to LTF. I guess you can request for LTF conversion until joining fees are posted on your card

but still atlas is better than yes reserv for miles. this card is for revenue booking nd get best out of it through subscription plans which cost 4000-6000rs. per year. For Lounge you need to spend something in each quaarter, if you do all of these mostly you'll eligible for fee waiver automatically.

In fact there are only 2 miles programs with YES, Intermiles, ClubVistara and both at 10:1 which is not good, IMO.

thanks both... yeah, in this case would be prudent to hold spends till start of next month. Not urgent anyways.

My statement is generated and the points shown are still ~5k. Does it update later once paid?
