Yes Bank Reserv + 3X Subscription Plan

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new card to complement my Infinia. The main goal is to increase the rewards rate for a few lakhs of donations towards NGOs (both Indian and International). BOGO on movies, and rewards on rental and UPI transactions will be great to have but not necessary.

I recently came across the YES Reserv card, along with the 3X subscription offer for all spends. The following is how I see the reward rates:
  • 9% Points on Online Shopping (except on Select categories)**
  • 4.5% Points on Offline Shopping (except on Select categories)
  • 2.25% Points on Select categories
Assuming 25 paise per RP redemption rate, for flights and hotels.

The 9% rewards rate seems just too good to be true. Can anyone confirm? If it is indeed true, then why is this not the most talked about card for Forex transactions?

P.S: I don't mind paying the annual fee given the rewards.

You need to redeem the Atlas edge miles for 2x Hotel points. Return is 4.00--6.33%, depending on the milestone achieved
One more thing.. is atlas more beneficial if my spendings are online(not shopping, travelling utility etc)? I think atlas is not beneficial there for online general spends if you can confirm that too.. Thanks

All online & offline spends
4.00--6.33% return based on milestones.

All direct hotel and airlines online and offline spends
10.00--12.33% return based on milestones.

Zero subscription fee.
5900 joining fee is compensated with points worth 10000
5900 renewal fee is compensated with points worth 5000/10000/20000, depending on milestone tier achieved in the previous year

Have u subscribed or skipped? If yes, which plan and where r u using?

I am thinking to go with paid Marquee card and use it mostly for forex spends only. If I consider 1 point as 0.2rs, as there will be 15-20% discount normally on flight tickets. Marquee will give 2.42% (1.18% forex) return and Reserv with 3x will give 2.73% (2.07% forex). So, a difference of only 0.31%.

For utility, effective difference will be 0.8%. For domestic online, effective difference will be 1.2%.

Marquee can be considered FYF, as it is like 20% discount on a 15K flight ticket. And I actually need to do this much booking in near term anyway.

Next year, marquee renewal will be effectively 1900rs. Reserv 3x subscription fee is 4130. And who knows what happens with subscription plan next year. So not worth doing calculations for next year.

Just to recover 4130 fee in resev at say average percentage difference of 0.8%, it will require 5L worth of spends. With marquee there will be additional bms, lounge benefits too.
Finally enrolled for 3x plan with reserv rather than upgrade. I thought I maybe able to spend more than 5L in next one year. So, will cross the break even point.

I have subscribed to 5X plan, however I am not getting any OTP while doing the transaction on CC, while I do get for internet banking. The card is active since long and online transaction is enabled. Any one has any idea to resolve the issue. CC team is going to revert in 1 week.

How can we redeem the points against flight and hotels?
Does Yes Bank has a similar platform like Axis TravelEdge?

Is 3x rp capping on calender month or statement date?
For ex: my statement date is 10 jan, and I have already done 2L transaction on it which would lead to 75k accelerated rp capping. Now I want to do another 1L transaction to I can do it on 1st or 2nd feb or should I wait till statement generation for accelerated rp capping to reset?

Edit got it: its statement cycle

Is there a way to change the card type after approval. I'm getting approval for marque but want a reserv. I tried checking on the forum in other posts but didn't find an affirmative

Unfortunately No, you have to take what is served or leave it.. not an ideal scenario

You need to show less income to get Reserve instead of Marquee.
@S S V What is the income level for each of these cards?

In Axis, there is no problem.
No matter how high your income, you can choose even an entry level card.
Higher income gives you more cards to choose from

Hi all, just want to update on the voucher value for Reserv, its 0.1rs for all and also statement credit is 0.1rs. Only hotels and flights are 0.25rs

Yes, they are different. Looking at your post i assumed the voucher value should remain same and made calculations and took the card. Looks like if you dont use the points for travel then the value is vey less 3.6% for online, 1.8% offline & 0.9% for special categories with the 3x subscription. Without the subscription the card has no value 1.2% for online, 0.6% offline & 0.3% for special categories

I mentioned that redemption should be only for flights @25p in my detailed article
"which card to use and where "
you can see it if you are in the super premium card group
