Try YouTube Revanced with microG.

Despite having YouTube premium, I prefer to use modded apk, as it has better options, like skip credits, sponsor messages, set default playback speed (mine 2.5x), volume/brightness control by simple swiping and much more.

If you pair with premium account (as I have done so), even better!

If you are still using old version of Vanced YouTube then you should uninstall and re-install the revanced APK to prevent all issues.
