Millennia HDFC Pre-approved CC offer updated from MONEYBACK+ to MILLENIA (75k limit) in just 2 Months of Wait.

I have HDFC moneyback+ cc which is 3m old with 45k limit, and when I was trying to apply for hdfc Swiggy 2nd cc they says that - it looks like you already have a card with us.

Do i need to wait for 6m? or i am not eligible for 2nd credit card ?

& How many months after you got Swiggy cc ?

And they're offer me hdfc rupay credit card ltf on mycard website.

Thanks in advance.
After 4 month i applied for swigyy
wait for 1 or two months they would give you, but if you take rupay virtual you may have to wait more
If you have moneyback plus rupay, dont take rupay virtual.
if you have moneyback plus in other network and you want it on rupay network email them and ask for convert in rupay

Use the Swiggy card for an year and then ✉️ them for Ltf. Don't do unethical tricks.
I contacted HDFC customer care, and they confirmed that my card is First Year Free (FYF).
After receiving this confirmation, I mailed the HDFC credit card team requesting to convert my FYF card to Lifetime Free (LTF). In the mail, I mentioned that I was earlier offered the LTF Swiggy Credit Card (I attached a fake LTF screenshot) during August and September, but this month the offer on the Swiggy app changed to FYF — which was previously offered as LTF.

I also mentioned that I had avoided applying for the LTF Swiggy Credit Card earlier because, at that time, the card didn’t seem beneficial for me. So, I requested them to kindly convert my FYF card to LTF with reference to previous LTF offer and also as a goodwill gesture , considering I am a valuable HDFC customer.

In their reply, they denied my request, saying they could not make it LTF.

I then mailed them again and shared a fake story that one of my friends received the Swiggy Credit Card as LTF even without having a savings account/relationship with HDFC and that he holds three LTF HDFC Credit Cards. I also expressed my disappointment, saying that despite being a loyal and valuable customer, I still cannot get even one more LTF card, while others with no relationship with HDFC have multiple LTF cards.

To my surprise, this time they replied that they would review my concern and generated a token number.

In cibil's employment details hdfc bank reported my occupation as SALARIED.

There won’t be any problem in the future while getting approval for a credit card from another bank, right?

Not, I am still a student and hdfc gave me Pre approved MILLENNIA CC , in which I applied by filling my employment details as SALARIED, same mentioned by hdfc in my CIBIL report 🙄
It’s fine in the case of HDFC, since you wouldn’t get the millennia under a student profile anyway. So, you had to keep your profile as “salaried” to get the millennia card as a pre-approved offer.

What I meant to say is that majority of the banks might not work the same way, they may ask for your ITR or salary slips. I hope, you don’t do anything stupid that could cause a permanent dent.

One more question: Let's assume my mobile number is 8544701188

Hdfc bank reported only 9 digit of my Mobile number in CIBIL. First digit is missing
Under HOME PHONE: 544701188

I have Cibil subscription, I Raised dispute to correct my mobile number instead of correcting my Mobile Number,
Hdfc bank added correct MOBILE NO,
Under MOBILE PHONE : 8544701188 ,but not removed earlier's 9 digit Mobile number.

How to remove 9 digit Mobile no number?

Thanks. This solved the mystery of CIBIL alert ⚠️ that I got "a new mobile number reported ".

No idea 💡 of your query though 😎

Ignore it, it's completely irrelevant. The same goes for the address too. For example, suppose your Aadhaar card has your address as:

"1st Lane, TF Colony, HumorSimpson Road, Delhi"

And HDFC reports it as:
"Lane 1st, TF Colony, Delhi"

Ignore that.
