SBI Debit Card not received even after one month

Hello Mates,

My debit card was issued on 2nd April'22 and even after almost one month I haven't received either any tracking/dispatch info or the actual card.

I reached out to the customer care multiple times and registered a case id but I was told that my complaint got approved/closed however, yet to receive my card.

Have dropped a tweet to SBI Official as well but still no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🥺.

I've decided against it, I'll open one more AU a/c on her name, so we can have one more platinum card. I think 3 platinum cards are enough.

This account is normal account, my joint a/c is already of this variant and BOB service is not pleasant. I'll try to convert my existing join a/c debit to platinum one later for BOB.

Only problem is I'm not seeing option for same in app, so will have to visit branch I geuss.

Which Network and Variant does your existing BoB DC belong to?

AU digital account can be opened from any cities? 😐

Received my debit card today, it kind looks cool. Better material than some credit cards I've.lmao

I've also opened one a/c with AU for my wife, have requested debit card for her a/c as well.

I'm curious, welcome kit didn't seem to have checkbook or passbook. Do they not give it or its something I can collect from branch if I want?
Also, my wife's a/c has same IFSC code issue I had, to transfer money to her a/c I again had to enter IFSC of some other branch. 🤣

During the application, where you opt for Debit card, there is an another option just below that to opt in/opt out for cheque book. Did you opt out for cheque book?

No, I had only opted out for government benefits like gas subsidy credit in the a/c. Form is filled by vkyc person only, so I don't remember specifically telling no to check book either.

Will have to check in the app I guess, so check book if opted for comes in welcome kit only right?

You might have unticked the cheque book option while applying... There is option for cheque book in online application

Now you can call customer care and apply for it..passbook can be obtained from branch.. And yes design is very good than other banks...

I see. Lets see, would have not used checkbook anyways. But in typical Indian mentality, since I didn't get it, I want it even if I never use it 🤣 🤣 🤣

During the account opening, should I opt for Internet Banking and Mobile Banking so that mobile app can be used for virtual card generation? Are using the services of Internet and Mobile Banking free or chargeable?

Some of the people was claiming that even virtual card generation is now chargeable. Is it true?

Virtual card is free..... There was some error earlier that has been rectified.... Mobile banking and Netbanking is absolutely free
