HDFC says Rupay franchise is unavailable

my regalia ltf card is to be renewed this year.
when i asked the bank if i could ask the card on the rupay platform or not, they said" Rupay franchise is currently unavailable in Regalia credit card"
is this true?

another question:- will my card still be ltf if they renew it om the rupay platform?

I had raised request to convert from Visa to RuPay, got revert that they are looking into it on top priority but they didn't mention whether it can be done or not.

Today, I received message that HDFC Credit Card bill has been paid but the last 4 digits of the card are different.

Also, I received 2 messages (I had paid bill in 2 separate payments)

So, does that mean that my card has been converted?

No update on mycards or on email though.

I am only CC user of HDFC. Don't have savings account. So, I don't have netbanking access.

But that doesn't have option of Transferred card registration.

Yes, you have to remove card so your internet banking user I'd will also get deleted
After that you will have to create again

Also, TataNeu app shows the RuPay Platinum logo but when I enter the OTP to get the full card details it shows previous Visa Card details. 🤣🤣

Yes. Calling customer care may get your luck by chance.
If they also reject, try 2-3 times different officers will reply every time, one of them will happily take your request.

AFAIK, that twitter guy is only Varun for HDFC Bank, replying everywhere, and not solving problems.

Call customer, care, and if declined, then mail Grievance Redressal.

Varun is no longer part of hdfc Twitter team it seems.

But your add-on card holder cannot use for UPI txns (if you are thinking to use it for upi).

Also in general the network on which primary card is, add-on card comes on the same network.

ok, Yes i wanted a card for UPI transactions. Will HDFC give a third card LTF? Their virtual Rupay card is currently spend based and rewards are not so great.. What other banks have good Rupay cards? Else my only option is maybe to change Neu from Visa to Rupay.

Why are you not changing NEU VISA to NEU RUPAY ?

Took it on Visa for the Priority pass, but i now Rupay also has good international lounge coverage. so yea, maybe switching to rupay is the best deal.

Hello I was just comparing AC prices on Amazon and Flipkart. Amazon has a offer on HDFC cards rn. So I clicked order to just check the effective price on my HDFC card.

And I realised that the discount is only being offered on my old regalia card. I had also saved my freedom rupay credit card on Amazon, but it didn't give any discount on that card. It kinda makes me sus. I had recently converted my regalia from visa to rupay. So the old regalia is effectively closed and I no longer have any visa credit card from HDFC.

(I haven't received my rupay regalia card yet, so I couldn't put the card number and check)

So my question is, why couldn't I see the discount on the freedom rupay credit card?
Is it because it was a rupay credit card?
Or is it because the credit limit on that card (20000) was lesser that the price of the product being checked out(~40k)?

Have I made a mistake by not having a single HDFC credit card on the MasterCard or Visa franchise?

It shouldn't happen. ICICI Rupay also doesn't offers discount (it has some issues as well).
Amazon is involved as well in this.

May be banks will rectify in near future.
