HDFC says Rupay franchise is unavailable

my regalia ltf card is to be renewed this year.
when i asked the bank if i could ask the card on the rupay platform or not, they said" Rupay franchise is currently unavailable in Regalia credit card"
is this true?

another question:- will my card still be ltf if they renew it om the rupay platform?

ig you can call regalia conditional ltf, because of the smartpay thing but idk for sure
and freedom i got through an email promotion/ad from hdfc last month

I don't know how the combined limit works
The limit on regalia is 4.8 lacs
While the limit on freedom is just 20k

Nowadays HDFC plying in different ways to continue their relationship bond with Visa/Master they were declining card conversation requests and insisting them to get instant virtual Rupay CC with 250+GST Joining and annual fees 😱

HDFC bank issue RuPay credit cards only to new customers and very few old customers get conversion to RuPay.

Yesterday i called customer care to convert my moneyback+ from visa to rupay

They told they have raised request for conversion and it will be done in 3 to 4 days

Till now i didn't get any update in email or sms about my service request

My doubt is did they raise my request or did they do nothing 😥

Gd news TDY rupay is showing in my mobile banking app.So finally i too got rupay card😅
In mycards page i m also seeing rupay virtual hdfc card
Did anyone took it
Is it good or ignore?

I had raised request to convert from Visa to RuPay, got revert that they are looking into it on top priority but they didn't mention whether it can be done or not.

Today, I received message that HDFC Credit Card bill has been paid but the last 4 digits of the card are different.

Also, I received 2 messages (I had paid bill in 2 separate payments)

So, does that mean that my card has been converted?

No update on mycards or on email though.

Like what are the chances of them agreeing to grant a ltf millennia?

Mail them that you will add two billers in Smartpay, then they might consider. If they agree, add any two billers in their Smartpay portal and enable Auto-pay using your Millenia card. In addition to your CC being made LTF you can also earn 5% reward rate on the bill amount. Do this only if they agree.

Edit: Billers with small bills are only recommended. Because you can get better rewards in other cards for higher bills.

I had MC Freedom, placed request day before yesterday, got converted yesterday, dispatched today. Nowadays they are easily taking requests for conversion. Check in mobilebanking, your card will be visible. Don't know why not in netbanking

Mine also done in 2 days .Showing in my cards within 2 days
Already dispatched... waiting fr courier 😁
