Payzapp + Red Girraffe MCC Patched

Payzapp has corrected the MCC for rent transactions done on Red Girraffe. I did a transaction yesterday and the merchant name is reflected as PZRENT. The transaction got settled today and Axis has charged a 1% rent surcharge + GST as well. So it’s no longer reflected as a utility transaction

Are you sure that the recent transaction done through the old app came under the MCC of Insurance?

Yeah because in new app they changed the merchant name too to PZRENT
while in old apk it's still PAYZAPP NON BBPS Biller

I have to see how much time it will take to settle down the payment.And will I get rewards points or not.

Do you remember the merchant name ? if it is PZRENT, it will be considered as RENT transaction and you won't get any points.
Till now peopel were getting points because it was considered as Insurance payment.

Merchant name is not PZrent for sure.

What’s the alternate, quicker way to pay, non PayZapp way ?

In the past there was a non bill pay way to pay, by only entering RG ID and mobile number.

Not sure if that still exists or how to do that now.
