I got a 6K discount on my Credit Card and an additional 4K off as an upgrade offer. The best part is, you don't need to trade in a device; they only require the IMEI number. Guess what they chose? An iPhone 7!

but the strap option wasn't there as the watches come box packed... I assume he could have given me the band instead of giving 1.5k discount

After buying S23Ultra from that shop, I got 45W charger as Gift (they mostly adjust the amount from the upgrade money they receive) but as the margin was less in watch (as it was new too), he could only offer additional discount

What I am saying is, we don't get much options in India, online and in stores both

I have been using the Fold5 for over 3 months now (yes, I had been beta testing it before launch). The cameras are good, but they are no Pixel 7 Pro, or IP14 Pro, or S23U.
So, if you need good cameras, go for it. If you need great cameras, you need to look elsewhere

Any input about Flip5? I really like the form factor and the wow factor of flip but I am that kind of person who uses their phones for 4-5 years, so is flip5 that kind of phone which could last that long?

I am planning to switch from iP to Fold 5. Using iPhones since the past 13 years. Just too afraid to pull the trigger!

I am in the opposite camp but have a friend who was using iPhone till iPhone 13 and switched to s22U and most of her complaints are about just in the way android is different from iOS. Kinda like mine, when I use iPhone or iPad, I always wonder who was the idiot who designed things like this, my friend has similar reaction when using android. She switched back to iPhone after some 6 months.

Will keep this in mind. Have to upgrade phone finally and anything outside of samsung is dead due to google dialer being the only option.

I called a nearby Samsung store and enquired about this offer. They said that the instant discount that was being offered online is being called the upgrade discount offline. It is an instant discount of 11k. Apart from this there are other exchange bonus and stuff.

But in my city normal phone shops are giving the fold 5 for 134k. Around 8-10k cheaper than the samsung stores. 🤷‍♂️
And the flip 5 for 76k.

Most of these stores buy phones from online and sell it offline. So many would have taken advantage of such offer that I mentioned in this post. Still 76k is quite cheap. Usually they do a markup of 1-3k on such phones.

Any input about the device that you’d like to share? I am planning to switch from iP to Fold 5. Using iPhones since the past 13 years. Just too afraid to pull the trigger!

Also kinda noob question, the fold 5 can do normal 4:3, 16:9 photos too right? Just the screenshots will be oddly shaped?
