Icici won't be opening any account less than 1L AMB so easily

But if you do not have any prior relationship, apply for APay CC, they are offering 0 bal account with it. Consent will appear just before vkyc

Really? They don't have any entry-level savings variant for Rupay Plat DC? Can't go for apay because I have been rejected twice for it, so I'm trying the bank route to get the cc eventually

You will have to escalate a lot in order to get a normal savings account

Though try to negotiate with branch for a 0 bal acc with one time initial funding

Find a rural branch in your area and try to open regular savings account.... I tried same.... Initially they rejected... Then i complained on twitter.... After that branch manager called me and opened the account.... MAB-2000×for regular savings account....in rural branch and 5000 for semi urban branch...

That was around 3 years ago.. And seeing recent trends... Even twitter complaint is not working..... At first instance they will say that there is nothing like regular account in icici.... But there is...

After account opening call customer care and apply for rupay platinum card easily....

Now my account has been automatically upgraded to privlge banking.... With zero mab requirements due to my credit cards... I have three ltf icici credit cards...

There is no account in icici which gives rupay card as default... U have to request manuallly... This card is fyf... So u can get it and later request for rupay platinum.... Ye sab to ho jaega.... First u get this account opened.... Currently its almost impossible... When u will go to branch u will understand....

No.... It can only be opened offline..... Open only 10k mab account can be opened... And for that too... They will ask initial deposit upto 1 lakh.....

I don't think I've used my ICICI DC for any specific purpose as of yet. I'll still compare the benefits and then make the switch.

Rupay DC gives too many lucrative offers. Can't seem to ignore it anymore.
