AMEX MRCC Approved without Income Documents.

I applied on Sunday 26th May and got an approval email on Monday, I filled in income less than real income, and they didn't ask for any documents.
Just PAN, Aadhaar for address proof, and nothing else.
I changed my address on Friday on my Aadhaar Card just for this.
So even if you don't belong to the serviceable area still you can get it approved but UIDAI will charge ₹50 for address change.

Well, I live in a rented house and sent a rent agreement, but I think telecom/water/electricity bills also can be used, also Friend's name can be used as C/O, and anyone can revert back to the original address after approval anytime, though that also will charge ₹50.

Interesting, personally will never have this issue, but a lot of other people struggle to get cards when they're not located in servicable areas.

Did you enter office email address in application? In that case they won't ask for income documents

However, it is quite common these days getting Amex card without income docs.. About 60 - 70 % of people got like this these days..

Not necessary .. A lot of people got card without income docs by mentioning alternative email address in lieu of official email address

Yes, me twice in 2019 and in 2023, although I own a flat in the city centre of Mumbai where the property prices are 50000 per square foot.
So I am talking from personal experience

Yes, I did enter. I don't know if alternative Gmail works or not, but there are other possible email ids are available.
Also, they didn't verify my official email address,

THis is the first time I am hearing this.. You may be case of an excpetion .. Probably some data item might had triggered this..

I don't know whether the approval was conditional or final, official or unofficial.

But I was exceptional because I CLOSED my MRCC after using it for 4 years, because I did not want to pay the renewal fee.
And again applied for it after 6 months, under referral scheme, to get it for FREE with 6000 points extra!

Not always.
After the VKYC, they never asked for any dox. And, I never sent anything. Got my MRCC in hand on the 3rd day. Very Happy to be back to AmEx - I am a returning CC customer - held 2 AmEx cards earlier.

But I read here on techno fino that
Recently that they have put some restrictions on buying 4 x 1500 Amazon pay from the Amex gyftr portal.

That is the only thing I used it for, for 4 years from 2019 to 2023.
So if it's not available anymore then I would not apply for MRCC again

it is FYF to start with and then
if you spend 90K - 750 fee
if you spend 150K every year - LTF !!! 😉
