AMEX MRCC Approved without Income Documents.

mukesh01

TF Select
I applied on Sunday 26th May and got an approval email on Monday, I filled in income less than real income, and they didn't ask for any documents.
Just PAN, Aadhaar for address proof, and nothing else.
I changed my address on Friday on my Aadhaar Card just for this.
So even if you don't belong to the serviceable area still you can get it approved but UIDAI will charge ₹50 for address change.

How big is the flat? Was Amex aware of the ownership?
They didn't ask for the size, but my premium location address is enough.
Yes, aware.

But l cancelled a 4 year old MRCC to avoid paying renewal fee and reapplied after 6 months via referral for a FYF card with 6000 free points.

Just don't upload any docs if you dont have one.
You can reapply after 30 days, If the application is canceled...

after 90 days if application is rejected

Things to remember when applying for an Amex card:

1. You must have an address in a serviceable area.
2. Your CIBIL score should be a minimum of 750.
3. No late payment entries in your CIBIL report in the last 7 years. [unofficial]
4. No more than three hard inquiries in the last three months. [unofficial]
If we go by my CIBIL then I wouldn't have met hird and fourth conditions as I had late entries in 2020 during COVID
I had 4 CIBIL enquiries in the last three months.
They will ask you for your latest income tax returns before sending the card
They haven't asked and card is on the way.
Thank you for your interest in applying for an American Express SmartEarn Credit Card.

After reviewing your application, we have determined that your income does not meet our internal evaluation criteria. As a result, we are not able to process your application.

If there are any changes to your financial information, which indicate a higher income, please feel free to contact us again and we will be happy to review your application.
Can you DM, maybe I can help.
One of my friends is getting this email after application. Can he ignore and wait for the application to be approved? Did you get any such email?
I didn't get such emails, I would suggest uploading documents he has to avoid canceling the application and avoiding another CIBIL hit for another application.
I didn't want one more CIBIL for hit another application so I carefully filled the details, AMEX gave conditional approval just after filling first page so I think maybe we have to fill somewhat higher income to avoid asking income documents. You can fill higher income if you don't have income proof.
I am not in servicable area
Any hack for this
Without changing adhar adress
I would suggest changing the Aadhaar as that's very easy and you can use your friend's address.
Brother I applied for 3 times and got rejected for the same reason that I'm not in the serviceable area. Could you please elaborate on how you changed the address(not the process). Because to what address should I change. Could you please explain it.
I would suggest changing the Aadhaar as that's very easy and you can use your friend's address.
Please if you want to know how.
I applied twice and they asked for income documents both the time. My company gave the printed hard copy of salary slips and when i uploaded them, they rejected the application.
You can try avoiding income documents, maybe I can help what I filled.
Over 6 months
over 1 lakh in hand per month

Changing Aadhar address is super easy. I have done it online quite often for various reasons. You can use any address like that of a relative or friend. You would need some documents obviously.
Yes, I also thought it may take time but this was very easy just ₹50 charge.
and we can revert anytime.

DId you work for aother company during the last financail year?
I mean , are you fully emplyed for the last financial year?

If you so form 26AS , will be enough..

DM me if you want to discuss this in detail
I think employment doesn't matter much, maybe the Credit Report of the income range we are entering.
My conditional approval came on the first page without filling in any employment details and without CIBIL hit so I think its based on income.
Nope. You need atleast one ovd doc.
Aadhaar, passport, license or election id with serviceable address.
Changing aadhaar address is the easiest method.
Aadhaar address change is super easy, just one day and ₹50 charge and we can do 1000 times.
They didn't ask for the size, but my address is enough.

I know they asked for house ownership and I live in rented but I think that is just for verification not a criteria for approval.
No
Thats why 26AS wont work

I would suggest uploading certainly if you work in any of the listed companies that will certainly approve your application.

Well, I live in a rented house and sent a rent agreement, but I think telecom/water/electricity bills also can be used, also Friend's name can be used as C/O, and anyone can revert back to the original address after approval anytime, though that also will charge ₹50.
Hi, I am new to the cc community.
I want to have an amex card. I have few doubts about it:

1. My permanent address (i.e) the address in all of my official docs like aadhaar, pan etc... doesn't come under the serviceable area. I can do what you did. Change the address to serviceable area and change it back again after approval. But will it cause any problem afterwards?

2. I stay in PG. So can't provide any sort of proof to support my current address. What to do in this case ?

3. How does referral affect my annual fee?

1) No problem at all.. this is what generelly people do
2) You need to find some supporting doc to change the addhar address
3) During referral, First year free for both MRCC and Plat Travel and 2k Bonus MR + for MRCC dicsounted renewal fee of 1.5k instead of 4.5K

You have bigger problems to worry about than getting a card. First try and save money to move to your own place.

You can use Aadhaar of tenent for address proof or use Aadhaar of your friend as proof to change address in your Aadhaar Card, you can use any other bill to change address if you have.

What about physical verification, did they come at the new address?

Thanks
