Dear TFFam, Anyone opened the newly launched BOB BRO account recently? The account has many free perks and definitely features as a lucrative offer for students. However though they said free Rupay Platinum DC for life, still charged a issuance charges of ₹354. Currently having a dispute with their grievance cell. Anybody here faced the same situation?

@CosmicCat here is the updated steps - login into bobworld app -> view all accounts -> click on total balance shown within a skin color box -> click on your account number. Then you will be shown the scheme of the account.

But I am in a dilemma now though. :ROFLMAO: Since the annual charge of the RuPay Platinum DC is essentially free for BOB Lite (Which otherwise costs over ₹300) and SMS charges are much lower than that of the debit card's annual charge, I think I should rather go with BOB Lite instead of BOB BRO. What do you guys suggest? I would also suggest go with BOB Lite and turn off the SMS alerts.

Online account opening is just a headache because they knowingly wrong your DOB to transfer your from Bob bro account to normal savings account
