Recieved first debit card today. It's beautiful. Will go to bank on Monday to convert the account to joint to get another Debit card.

Around 4 months back I migrated CBI HSS account to Cent Queen for one of my family members. I have an exclusive PDF, which has all the details about that account variant. I posted detailed thread in one of closed/secret groups in this forum. Now sharing that PDF for all the folks. Also few snaps of debit card. The card gives all the benefits of RuPay Select including wellness, OTT, etc.

According to me, this account is cheapest among all for RuPay Select DC. Why, read below given points.

Initial deposit	NIL
QAB	₹25,000 (PS: If you maintain QAB, you will get extra benefits)
QAB non-maintenance charge	NIL
Debit card issuance fee	NIL
Debit card renewal fee	NIL on following condition (a) Minimum 2 transaction per month - OR - (b) Minimum 20 transaction per year at anywhere and any amount using debit card

If you maintain the QAB, you will get a personal accident death insurance and wellness benefits from Bajaj Allianz.

• Insurance cover of upto ₹10 lac on top of RuPay Select personal accident death insurance of upto ₹10 lac
• Unlimited tele consultation with general physician
• Annual preventive health checkup voucher worth ₹1,500

Cherry on cake: This account can also be opened as joint account, where primary name must of a female. Secondary can be male or female.

No idea as I am not maintaining. Branch told me that policy will be issued after quarter ends. Not sure if that's true.

Received Chequebook, but in every leaf it mentioned as "mom name / mom name",
So only my mother sign enough to pass a cheque?

Netbankings and mobile bankings are different.
In my Netbanking, mother name not showing, vice versa.
I can't understand this CBI thing.

Only place where i saw both names in one place is passbook

The Central Bank guy finally got it. I visited the branch just now (30 mins back) Got my passbook, cheque book request. The entire branch was unaware of the additional debit card. I called customer care and the 2-3 employees got to experiment. All that was needed was to select Cent Queen product code while applying the debit card for 2nd CIF ID and voila. Received SMS for debut card in 20 mins.

I also convinced the guy to open another joint account for my Mom with a considerable IP cheque (not forced, and I suggested it from my end) they agreed and were thankful. I took a few samosas for them as a thank you and they were all good. Now comes the wait for delivery fingers 🤞.
