How to file a complaint against a bank on the RBI banking ombudsman portal

It will be all info of your father, as though he is filling the form
but i can mention that i am filling on behalf of. my father right? because if they call on my father's mobile number. then he won't be able to answer because of language of communication
 
i am trying file a complaint with rbi ombudsman but ia m getting error no special characters allowed.to rectify this i have removed every special character including full stops ,comas and everything still getting the same error.any advise?

if you are on pc then copy paste all the mater on word file and see the error likes comas full stopt and all other special characters LIKES - :';, / there should be only taxt with space then copy paste to RBI WEBSITE

Remove all commas and re-write things like: don't as do not, won't as will not. The RBI ombudsman website is still stuck in the dark ages of computers. Ironically I once filed a complaint against SBM Bank for their online KYC page not accepting special characters plus the field was read-only/non-editable so was unable to complete re-KYC. Filed this complaint on RBI's ombudsman's website which also didn't accept those same special characters 🤣🤡
 
Hello everyone… I have received less cashback in the month of June last year on my axis bank credit card then I raised a request for the same with the bank and the bank replied that you will receive the eligible Cashback in the next billing cycle but I didn’t received the Cashback and then I also totally forgot and then recently I received less Cashback in January 25 also so I raised this issue with the bank and received the additional Cashback as well but then I suddenly remembered that I have raised the request for the less cashback of last year as well but still I haven’t received the Cashback yet so my question is can I raise this issue with RBI ombudsman or not and can I ask for any compensation from the bank or not if yes then how much should I ask for ?

Hi everyone, need help. I applied for sbi simply save cc in 2019 and closed it in few months as the card wasn't that much beneficial for me. It's been 5 years that card was showing active in my cibil. I email sbi pno few days back and now they have marked that card as closed in my cibil. They are saying no compensation for this cibil issue. Can i raise a ticket to RBI for the compensation from SBI ?
 
I have some FD with bank with maturity instructions.

Bank staff has unauthorizedly changed the maturity instructions without my consent. I received SMS and email about the change.

I am shaken to the core as it broke my trust with the Bank. I want to fight it out.

What is the complaint process to be taken against the bank?

First you will have to complain to the Bank. If not resolved within 30 days, you can raise it to RBI BO.

Thanks. It is HDFC bank. I have sent an email complaint. I got acknowledgement with complaint ID.

Do I have to wait for 30 days?

If you want to file a complaint against any bank, follow those steps.
Remember one thing, file a complaint with your bank first, then wait 30 days for resolution. If your bank doesn't solve your problem within 30 days, you can move to the RBI banking ombudsman. If you don't get any satisfactory resolution from your bank, you can also move to the RBI banking ombudsman before completing 30 days.
Also, if you have any more questions, better you can start a new thread. Or the topic for this particular thread will get diverted

Also for hdfc, directly email to grievance.redressal@hdfcbank.com . Their Lvl 1 customer care is ...umm.. very bad , to say the least
