I wrote first mail to customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com, and tataneucardsupport@hdfcbank.com.

They denied and told they cannot convert it to LTF.

I have written to next level now: grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com, and priorityredressal.creditcards@hdfcbank.com

If they still deny, I am planning to write an even more stronger mail to pnohdfcbank@hdfcbank.com

Like you told, not giving up.

You're trying for new card got approved during this period, or old card. If new card it should be done with 'customerservices' or at max. 'grievance' level itself using their website screenshot.

You don't need to login also.. Its for EVERYONE and whoever application got approved during this PERIOD.

When I tried to apply thru the above link, after online verification of my SBI netbanking and income details (ITR - 12+L), HDFC says - sorry.
I do not have ANY of their CCs. My relationship with HDFC is only thru a SBMax account (which is being used to make all my CC/Bill payments thru Auto BillPay). Now that the 1% CB is not there, it is time to close this account and say goodbye to HDFC once and for all.

After last year's TataNeuInfinity fiasco, did not apply to HDFC till today, despite having CIBIL score of 805+ all along.

Infinity got approved. Already had Infinia Metal and no other cobranded card.
There was a CIBIL hit though.

Activated card after seeing details in Tata Neu app.
Waiting for dispatch details.
How long did it take for approval ? I finished my KYC yesterday night, it still shows INPROCESS for me, whereas my IDFC & all got approved in less than 4 hours

Applied on 28th.
"Decision made" on 30th 🤷.
Approval email on 31st.

Received Neu Infinity physical card. Nowhere on the letter they have mentioned the charges.
HDFC customers are clueless on the charges whether it is LTF, FYF or fully paid.
They have to contact customer care or some other way to find out their card charge.
On the other hand, ICICI Axis and others mention credit limit, cash limit, joining fees and annual fees on the covering letter itself.

In this case, HDFC is s#!t.

Yes hdfc doesnt mention, they use defalut envelope.

However, recently I applied and received Life Time Free Swiggy credit card.

Some credit card representatives have been with the bank for a long time but may not always be up-to-date on the latest processes. When they first joined, they received training with certain templates and approaches, and over time, they often stick to forwarding those templates to close tickets quickly. Closing tickets remains a high priority to prevent escalations or re-opened cases.

Ever considered replying back to them, outlining the current process? It not only informs them that they might be following outdated procedures but can also help resolve your issue effectively.

These reps often just pass along default templates, which solve most cases since people tend to seek help elsewhere instead of replying back with clarification.

Btw, HDFC has been offering dual cards since early last year - nearly two years now - though some representatives may still not realize this is the norm.

Tip: Try replying directly to their email to clarify and address any misunderstandings.
