1% Cashback returns on HDFC Platinum Debit Card

It's different for Axis & IndusInd. My Axis & IndusInd bills were the only ones fetched and scheduled after the bill was generated.
Explanation:
Bill generated on 15th Sept
I setup for the first time on 27th Sept
Bill was fetched on 28th or 29th Sept morning
And scheduled for payment on 30th morning
Payment occurred on 30th & got points as well
But this case doesn't work for ICICI. That has to be in place before the bill is generated
Not worked for me. I also added Indusind biller after bill generation.
Bill generated on 15th Oct.
Added this as biller on 24th Oct
But it never got scheduled. So I paid manually this bill yesterday.
Still HDFC Smartpay has not fetched this bill.

I normally don't use IndusInd. Then I got the spend 20K and get 500 voucher offer. Used it and forgot to setup SmartPay for IndusInd
20K bill came and realised my mistake
Bill was generated on 5th & due on 25th. I added it on10th, thinking it would be like Axis. But nothing happened. No bill fetched
Then on 18th or 19th I got a message saying payment scheduled. And it went through. Got & used HDFC points as well

Hehe I got the same reason. I also spend 20k for IndusInd offer 🙂
 
Today my1 bills failed, Indusind rupay 4700Rs . approx but BOB went well around 3k.

Reason in email & bill payment in net banking : Error in processing the payment.

Reason in SMS: card status/limit.

You mean the DC POS spend limit was less than Axis bill and you later increased it and readded the bill?
Let us know when the bill gets scheduled for this re added Axis bill. Is any of these Axis bills already passed scheduled date?
 
I tried this out for the first time ... for 3 bills scheduled today, 2 of them were paid successfully out of which one was from Axis Bank only and for other Axis Bank CC, it failed and I got the message "error in processing payment".

There was sufficient amount available, any reason behind this failure (for 1 Axis Bank CC it succeeded and for other Axis Bank CC it failed ... weird)? Also, now what can be done? Will I lose on cashback since I need to pay this CC bill now via other way? (preferably on MobiKwik with SBI DC)

Today my Axis Flipkart bill of Rs 23k failed today by auto-pay, last month it has gone through but today failed ,Reason :card status

Make sure you put some spends on your card which makes the total outstanding amount equal to or greater than the billed amount. This happens due to the cashback amount that is credited to card.

No bill is round of but actual balance is less. For instance your balance is 7842.89 then bill amount is 7843 so auto debit not working

Last month the HDFC Bill Pay has been super unreliable...
2 Oct Axis -15580 - Success
23 Oct SBI Card 1 -16941.22 - Failed (apparently the outstanding amount in SBI reduced due to a refund, so SBI wasn't allowing the payment amount)
23 Oct SBI Card 2 - 28757.54 - Got a verification call and I confirmed. Money Debited and status showed success. But money refunded after 2 days.
31 Oct Axis Card 1 - 3962.59 - Failed - Card Status/Limit
31 Oct Axis Card 2 - 9746.62 - Failed - Card Status/Limit

Today again
ICICI - 9215 - Success

Unable to understand the reason. Some search results showed that RBI has 15K limit per month in total for auto bill pay, hence the issues happening. Anyone faced similar issue and any reason identified?

@Venky61 Almost similar issue happend with me when I tried paying bill of around 80k in Aug. HDFC BillPay showed success but later money got refunded. Tried again, same thing happened.

Raised issue with RM. As expected of RMs, he wasted time raising an irrelevant ticket with the backend team. I then mailed grievance redressal. They provided absurd reason. Escalated with PNO. They again quoted the same irrelevant response. Right now, my issue is pending with RBI ombudsman. I just love HDFC.
