Axis Atlas 2X reward points via axis atlas flight booking on travel edge

Booked flight tickets via axis travel edge portal using my atlas card.
Got 2X reward points. Wrote to premium support. They are saying :
As per bank records, Vernost Marketing S, MUMBAI on 22-04-2024 falls under MCC 4722🙁TRAVEL AGENCIES), hence, 2x miles were provided for every INR 100 spent instead of 5x miles.

I even shared the invoice of the payment.

What should i do?

I got my miles sorted, but my ER or using IOCL CC in exclusively IOCL pumps is still pending since 3 months now. Have escalated to MD Desk and they say they need more time to process. I seriously doubt I'm going to get it even tho it's 100% genuine spends. But I didn't want to go down without a fight.
I'll close the card once the I get to the bottom of this. Enough with these idiots

Finally, took the time to raise dispute with RBIO for Axis IOCL ER not getting credited since 20 Mar 2024.
Lets see what happens.
Even their MD desk is of no use as they keep asking for 5 days (like 4 times now).

I still haven't received my accelerated edge miles for transactions done on 31may, 1 June, 3 june. It's been more than a month

Just got base 2x miles, even though the flight bookings were done on traveledge using atlas.

Fed up of chasing them. Transactions are upwards of 60k, so should have got 6k edge miles, rather got around 2400 only.

What to do now ?

Mf I just found this thread & check my miles history, for about 1.6L transaction I got 2x miles on traveledge for vernost marketing. Called premium services & they said MCC were revised and notifications were sent out (havent received any though).

OP What did you do? Did you receive Miles. Shooting an email to premium services so can escalate to ombudsman. Pathetic

No waiting for 30days cool off to complain to RBI. As per them only hotels are eligible for 5x, on flights I will be getting 2x only since its ota. I was like WTF that was your USP. Card is okeish now for me & might not renew unless they bring something to it

As per card T&C, booking done on traveledge are eligible for 5x. Nowhere they mention that only hotels are eligible for 5x & not flights.

Exactly they silently updated the merchant name in April-May I think and since then it was 2x. I had transactions of upwards of 150k on flights for which I received 2x which I didn't even thought of looking until I came across OP post

This is daylight fraud.



Even their current T&C makes no mention of this.

My complaint with RBI is closed with the response that Cathay Pacific Airlines use non Airlines MCC, hence they are not in a position to provide extra edge miles. But your case is different and you are eligible to get 5X.

I've raised a complaint on RBIO (for Axis not crediting points) on 26th Jun and till date it's sitting on the same status. It's almost 3 weeks now. 🙁
