5% cashback not given on Flipkart axis credit card

I recently purchased a mobile phone from Flipkart on **30th August**, which was supposed to offer **5% cashback** through my Axis Bank card. However, I received only **1% cashback** instead. I’ve reached out to the Axis Bank Nodal Officer, requesting them to rectify the issue and credit the correct amount.

Its probably due to the tagged MCC for the transaction which might not be eligible to fetch 5% cashback.

It's a pathetic bank, they will play with 1% / 4% / 5% cashback rates.

You have to mail PNO because the first level support executives have no idea on the cashback terms.

check your Flipkart order page and find where 5% cashback mentioned or not for that transaction.

Flipkart is notorious for incorrectly tagging MCC.

If they don't credit the cashback (at PNO level), wait for few weeks and file complaint with RBI Ombudsman asking for compensation.

Don't leave any chance to take revenge against this bank.

If statement showing 1% then you need to fight for 5%.
