811 Super Savings Account Benefits

Spendz was the only extra account you had besides 811? No other Kotak account? I have Kotak Everyday Savings account opened after getting 811 and then Spendz. Not able to get Super so thinking of closing Spendz. Will be no big loss anyway

I created my super account on 20th October and deposited 5k
Today when I checked the app it shows the super plan is active.

So should I deposit 5k for this month now or after 20th of this month?
 
Will they still deduct the 300 rs debit card charges even if the account is downgraded? We must maintain this Super account for the rest of our lives if the debit card charges 300 rs.

Well here are the details mentioned in the fee & charges pdf file:
If you subscribe to 811 super then you get free debit card.
The subscription for the 811 super can be considered debit card fee.
If you don't renew the subscription for 811 super from 2nd year, then ₹299 debit card fee will charged.


Conclusion: Buy 811 super get debit card free otherwise pay yearly fee for the debit card (without any benefits of 811 super).
Don't want to renew 811 super and don't want to pay for the card either? Just close the card before the 811 super renewal date.

That's why they brought, assent and descent condition, indirectly enrolment is issuance fees for the first yr and annual/renewal fees, onwards. 🙂

If you pay 299, then only you can earn max 500/mth, until there's reduction in CB amount, for which they mentioned can add/alter/modify/change or vary all or any one T&C to replace, wholly or reduce the cashback at anytime without any prior notice or without assigning any reason whatsoever.🤣
 
I have kotak 811 account, upgraded to super in oct (around 15th). However, even after >1 week, I am unable to make any upi transaction of >5000. It always gives me an error stating limit reached. (like if we setup new mobile/new UPI ID), generally banks limit transaction amount to approx 5000/10000 for 24-48 hrs. however, here I am unable to make any transaction even after >1 week. tried every app, kotak own app, phonepe, Gpay etc. Does anyone know what might be the issue or work around here? appreciate your help.

I did it around the same time as well.
It was my mom's account around an year old. There were already big transactions using UPI, and they were not affected during the upgrade as well.

You should try calling CS I guess as it is un common

I read somewhere in the earlier comments that some of the 811 customer's kotak account's UPI is disabled as they were multiple trnxs. In my case atleast, the total tranx count was minimal, <30 debits, around 15/20 credits but I guess the same happened with me as well and they might have disabled mine too. Reached out to cx support. Lets wait for their answer.
 
Got my account converted to super savings account.
Will share my debit card and chequebook pics soon.
Also app logo and interface has changed a little.
Did you also have a Spendz account with the 811 savings account before the upgrade?
