Is there any extra benefit for Accor plus membership with respect to hotel booking rate ?

We went for lunch at a restaurant and were denied redeeming points against my points balance.
Hotel staff have no knowledge of how to redeem the points.
Even though I checked with the hotel before booking, they denied :'(

Mobile app gives 10%.
Silver and above gets 10%,
thus silver on mobile gets 20%.

This is one of a crazy deal on Fairmont if you want to stay for 5 plus more night. This rate includes breakfast too, also reward points can be redeemed.

Isn't it better to redeem points for stay in India atleast? As for 12000 points, one can get a value of €240 and generally good stays (like Fairmont Jaipur) are for 11-12k inr. Also one gets better availability. Thoughts?

Does this mean, u get reward points and status points both? I got zero reward points and 11 status points.

25 reward points and 25 status points on 10 euro mean 10% back (10 euro is 500 points), which is pretty good. And it is more for silver/gold members.

I stayed in grand Mercure, so that is mostly first column. If I back calculate, 11 points will be around 396 rupees, which is close to what i paid in cash.

Anyway I filled that claim points section and submitted in app. Let's see if they credit more points

Similarly, for a stay that includes benefits such as Suite Night Upgrade or "free night", points will only be credited based on the eligible amount paid by the member.

I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights in novotel phuket , pool acces room with brkfast
For just 36000 points and 13000 Rs.
and actual value is Rs.80000.
Its best hotel redemption I have ever done .
Almost 2 rs per point value .

It's flat 2000 points for 40 EUR ~ ₹3600. Can calculate points based on the room rate using this.
