Account upgrade offer

TF Buzz
I have salary account with HDFC. Today I am getting upgrade popup for my account to prime banking programme. I search in google for regarding details but haven't got what benefits it provides. The salary account I have used to show classic but now it's showing Standard. So if anyone can suggest, should I upgrade or not. I don't see any benefit which I have currently like platinum DC, zero balance account, etc.

Thats interesting, only last week we had another discussion about it, yet you couldn't find online. Seems like Technofino google index didn't work for you.

Check this..

There is no harm in taking such upgrade if you were willing to fullfill eligibility criteria in future.

I was bunch of threads regarding this. But was confused weather it's good idea to upgrade or not. I decided to go with it. Let's see what happens.

Nothing happens, since you have already salary account, you won't see any much changes in your day to day banking.

Salary = SavingsMax = Prime = Classic = Preferred = Imperia

Except IMPS charges, not much changes between these programs. Unless you already have or get locker somehow, and invest in their Demat.

I see, thanks for explaining.
