Air india flyingn returns down to the ground?

I am simply disappointed with this merger @airindia . Like seriously? I had huge sum of points in vistara. Which had very simple policy like CCU - BOM flight will be 5000 points no matter what. And now? Oh man. 9500+1600 tax srsly air india? Booking 2 months in advance. Points are basically useless now.
Only good use is international in rare cases

It is indeed disappointing...I got multiple PE vouchers but those can't be redeemed for CCU-IXC where only Economy vouchers can be used.
