Air India Maharaja Club transition hiccups.

This is a very big con. Not only seat may not be available, but also you may not get the desired seat/window seat.
Called airline customer helpline, but nobody picked up for 10mins, seems on-time conversion at airport is the only way. On a different note, can these class-upgrade vouchers be transferred to another person or used by somebody else?

In Vistara you could add someone as a traveller and book their flight (and upgrade it using the voucher as well). I'm assuming same should be there in Air India as well

Yes, although on a better note they've mentioned that if premium economy seats are full and business is available then they can upgrade from economy to business as well. So I'm just hoping I get either of them
 
travel vouchers are not available to redeem now but some days ago i can try to book tickets with vouchers but now it's not working.
on vouchers page it shows Online booking using travel vouchers is temporarily unavailable

is it same for everyone ?
 
All existing vistara accounts have been migrated to Maharaja Club. Some users are facing difficulties with incorrect number of vouchers, especially one class upgrade vouchers.

I am also facing the problem of incorrect maharaja club id problem while booking flight. So, let's discuss all these here.
I can see 2 ids.. my old vistara has also got migrated as a different id...

The customer care of vistara was like citi bank and airindia is like axis bank. Can't expect anything good from AI.

On payment page, after entering OTP for airline tax payment, amount gets deducted from credit card but after that receive error that miles payment is not successful. Called multiple times, customer care says your account is disabled. Raise a ticket from website link. When raised, I received revert that account is active. Air India is making us fool. Air India customer care is one of worst customer care. They do not know anything. For everything, they have solution of either raise a ticket or wait for 24 to 48 hours.

The management is running the airline to ground unfortunately.

Still wondering why would any management in their sane mind would willfully kill a great brand and merge it with a brand that has a sketchy reputation in customer's mind. The smart thing would have been a reverse merger of AI into vistara. Good reputation is not built in a day, and it's really hard to win back the reputation AI lost over the years.
