Do one thing, make a transaction on Airtel app and call CC to ask how much cashback you’ll be getting for that transaction (Bcoz CC can see the cashback amount in their system just after the transaction is settled)

bill payment was successful yesterday. Today I checked status on airtel thanks app, it says payment refunded. Amount yet to be credited to card or biller. Looks like work in progress from airtel side.

I think you used first time card transaction in your life. Card refund is not instant you will get refund within 3-4 working days or max 7-10 days.
