Airtel axis cashback query

Regarding Airtel axis cashback

For airtel bill payment cashback, do I need to apply a coupon on Airtel app while paying or it will auto detect and give cashback on next cycle?

For bigbasket, is there a coupon while using this card or will it auto apply cashback later on?

Thanks

No confusion. I have both FK CC and Airtel CC.
Flipkart Axis stmt has a separate column to show txn wise cashback.
Airtel Axis stmt does not have separate txn wise column and only show total cashback for the period.
People should then raise a complain with Axis bank support/PNO to improve it.
so that people can easily reference cashback earned for each transaction on Airtel card.

Does bigbasket purchase on tata neu app using this card give 10% cashback?
Yes. However, total cashback credited across all segments in not always accurate. I happily accept whatever they give. Sometimes it is like 650 to 800 per month while other months it is as low as 200. Not worth the hassle to try and calculate and then raise a dispute. If I get say 8k cashback in a year or 9k, it's still quite good. They generally don't give any extra cashback on bill payments beyond the 300 for Airtel payments as they tend to club them together as Airtel. Big Basket and Zomato etc is mostly given but not for every transaction. So just use and enjoy whatever they provide.

I want to ask you guys when is your bill generation date of your axis airtel credit card?
I got my card activated on 4th of November but the bill hasn't been generated.
Already spent ₹5200 on bigbasket and zomato
₹900 on airtel postpaid bill payment
₹3000 on electricity bill payment

Bill generate ho toh phir transactions start karunga 😂

Check Axis App or net-banking for statement. (Sometimes axis bank doesnt sends sms/email for weeks/days after statement days 😡😡)
Statement date is usually mid of the month for Axis (between 10-17 of every month).

You may be very close to a payment default already 🤐🤐

Curious question, why you use postpaid?
Is it reimbursed by your employer/your own business.

IMHO postpaid plans are costlier than similar prepaid plans, and also you can save money further by recharging for year long prepaid plans (+get protection from price increase for an yr).

Postpaid plans are helpful if you want to pool in family in a single bill.
Also helpful in Intl Roaming. Even domestic, I think places like J&K, Prepaid Numbers don't work. (I know with my experience to Maa Vaishno Devi. Prepaid numbers don't work)
Also helpful because can be used as a proof of address.

I have checked on the app it shows zero billed and nil due date, even asked cc they said bill not generated.
Yes definitely postpaid plans are better if you club your family just like @aayusharyan said.
My employer (a corporate hospital) doesn't provide CUG connection nor does it reimburses anything.

I have noticed one thing that my airtel postpaid provides higher speed at the same location at the same time when compared to my friend's airtel prepaid. I don't know the logic but I've personally tried and found it in many places.

I think Only BSNL's Prepaid works in J&K, I was there in 2012 don't know what is the status now.

Postpaid has its own use cases, particularly when when we are talking about a family with regular adults, senior citizens, teenagers/young adults all thrown into the mix, who may even be staying at 3 different States. The main advantage of postpaid family plan is data. There is no daily limit, entire data benefit can be shared seamlessly and any unused data gets carried forward to next month. Then there is also the convenience of not needing to remember recharge dates of multiple numbers and seamless roaming all over India incl J&K and NE. And Airtel never revise the plans of existing postpaid consumers, even if the plan is no longer available for new connections.
