Introduction

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is set to launch RuPay credit cards with all major banks in the coming years. RuPay currently offers three main credit card variants:
  1. RuPay Classic (Basic/Standard)
  2. RuPay Platinum (Premium) // includes SwiggyOne, Spa, Gift Cards, and more.
  3. RuPay Select (Super Premium)
There are also two sub-types under RuPay Select:
  1. RuPay Select
  2. RuPay Select Wellness (includes Gym, Spa, Golf programs, and more).
Key Features of RuPay Credit Cards
  • International Acceptance: Supported by Discover Financial Services, Diners Club International, Pulse, and JCB.
  • Free Benefits: Lounge access, wellness perks, and e-commerce offers.
  • Bank Offers: RuPay cards are eligible for the same offers as Visa/Mastercard (e.g., 10% discounts on Amazon, Flipkart).
  • No Discrimination Between Networks: If your Visa/Mastercard is lifetime free, the RuPay equivalent will also be lifetime free.

6. Yes Bank​

  • Available Cards: ACE, Reserv, Virtual Only Rupay

10. IDBI Bank​

11. Union Bank​

  • Available Cards: Union Bank RuPay 'Uni Carbon' HPCL Credit Card, RuPay Platinum, RuPay Select, 'Divaa' Women RuPay Platinum, RuPay JCB HEALTH Platinum and RuPay JCB Select credit cards

12. AU Small Finance Bank​

  • Available Cards: Business Cashback, IXIGO Co-branded RuPay Cards, Virtual Only, Spont.
  • Update 11th, December, 2024: Now all AU bank Credit Cards live on RuPay including AU LIT, Vetta, Zenith, AU Zenith+ RuPay Credit Card etc

How to Switch from Visa/Mastercard to RuPay​

Each bank offers straightforward processes to switch to RuPay:

  1. RuPay cards are on par with Visa/Mastercard in terms of offers and features.
  2. Newly launched RuPay cards might not immediately qualify for e-commerce offers—contact the bank for updates (Everything starts working perfectly after a few months).
  3. RuPay's partnerships ensure seamless international acceptance.

Lounge key is only for JCB variant cards which comes with BoB rupay cc.
So 4 domestic & 4 international.

For visa variant 4 domestic lounge are available 1 per quarter

while registering they debited USD 3.25 , i think they will reverse it right, they haven't till now.

Your amount is on Hold.

Reversed within 10 days. No refund msg you will get because money is on hold not debited.

You will see this amount somewhere in your bob account. Ab kaha par woh mai bhul gaya. 🤣🤣
 
Guys I am confused again my bill had generated for the old visa card in portal , but now portal has updated to show my new repay card with the new number,
So the problem is when i press pay now bob portal just shows paying for new card with 0 amount not outstanding amount

I checked my generated bill i see a pay now link option there when i click it takes me to bob insta pay link , where it tells me enter card number
Should i pay the bill with the pervious card number or the new rupay one while paying ,i am confused here

I think paying for either card should work, bob will have same account/ customer id/no.

Got reversed in 7 days. Also you won’t get any SMS/Email about the reversal, you have to check in bobcards website under Payments & Statements -> Transactions -> Unsettled. You will find the hold amount there, and then when it gets reversed it won’t show up in Unsettled or Unbilled.

By the way i think BBPS system also showing your bill generate amount, try to pay via Airtel app or Bajaj app, HDFC BillPay or any other BBPS supported BOB CC bill app.

Tried IDFC icici and amazon all bbps supported i think , idfc says biller down other tell to enter custom amount.
i shoould just for old visa now, the visa card should auto close in a month right, even if i make payment now right.

No Amazon is not support BBPS. No idea about others IDFC and ICICI.

Dont try before confirming.... If they upgrade.... And its not ltf... There is no chance of degradation in any case back to premier or any other variant....
