Axis Magnus Alternative in case of Axis Magnus devaluation or discontinuation

Axis Magnus is currently leader of credit cards in India. But we know soon it is going to be devalued. May be axis decides to discontinue it. Axis Magnus is such a card that covers all types of users. Those who travel a lot, pay utility bills, do shopping, etc. It is kind of all in one card at the moment. Even if fees of this card is 10K plus taxes but we still get something in return. Reward rate we all know cannot be matched by any other credit card. Another good thing is it gets easily approved comparatively. Credit cards like infinia are difficult to get and nothing much in return for fees.

What you guys think is the next bank credit card available in India like Magnus which is best for all types of users and easily available?

I would absolutely totally ditch all other cards and use only Amex (I already have Gold+MRCC) but can't because it is simply not accepted at most places!
The problem with Amex is acceptance I had to make a high value transaction few days ago Amex was my best bet but the merchant wont accept Amex !

Magnus is easier to get. I am struggling to get DCB or Infinia. Moreover, HDFC doesn't provide more than one core card easily. Already holding LTF Regalia.

Thats the point. Getting Infinia is pure luck & bank can control the amount of cards they want to put in the market, based on customer profile, unlike Magnus, who any tom dick & harry can get. Sadly that is what has caused the problem. Many have exploited the cards to great extents.

The C2C allowance was the real disaster. They should have stuck to ITR as the criterion.

Absolutely. !! C2C is where the problem started. Everytime I go to the Mumbai airport even during early morning hours, the Magnus counter has visitors all applying for either Magnus or vistara. Bichara, SBI counter on the side has the sales person playing video games on the mobile & wishing to join Axis sales team.

In that case, Reserve should not have been devalued. Not everyone can afford 59k annually. !! This is something else.
After reading so many threads here on this forum. I am sure that Axis Magus was given all sorts non-HNIs. Everyone was jumping for it. So this devaluation was expected.

Axis does not track ER points for Magnus and Reserve separately. Hence, it only makes sense to them to devalue both of these cards when it comes to ER points than upgrading the tech infra to track transactions and calculate transfer conversions. So many folks, with Magnus and Select were milking the earned ER points at 5:4 ratio when Select's ER conversion is different than 5:4.

My Magnus is deadbeat now.
