Axis Magnus Alternative in case of Axis Magnus devaluation or discontinuation

Axis Magnus is currently leader of credit cards in India. But we know soon it is going to be devalued. May be axis decides to discontinue it. Axis Magnus is such a card that covers all types of users. Those who travel a lot, pay utility bills, do shopping, etc. It is kind of all in one card at the moment. Even if fees of this card is 10K plus taxes but we still get something in return. Reward rate we all know cannot be matched by any other credit card. Another good thing is it gets easily approved comparatively. Credit cards like infinia are difficult to get and nothing much in return for fees.

What you guys think is the next bank credit card available in India like Magnus which is best for all types of users and easily available?

You can also apply for SBI cashback card. It give you 5% cashback on all online spends (with some exceptions). Made a lot of 5% cashback cards obsolete like Amazon pay icici, Flipkart axis, HDFC millennia, etc
Why are you guys not telling me all these beforehand!!

I need a repository of all the good cashback card recommendation in one place. I think we'll need to crowdsource this information.

Can also try for axis ace credit card. It gives 5% cashback on utility bill payments if done via Google pay through an Android phone and 4% on swiggy, Zomato and Ola (which recently got a capping of upto ₹500 per month). Also a major feature is unlimited 2% cashback on all other expenses (with some exceptions like fuel) which is higher than most other cards which offer a maximum of 1-1.5%

Sure.
Current active cards: Citi Premiermiles, Citi Cashback, HDFC Infinia Metal, Amex Gold Charge, StanC Utimate, Axis Magnus, Amex Corp.
I don't like to opt for high annual charge cards such as Plat Charge or Reserve but maybe in the future if my rational brain allows me to.

I think @Slayer already answered. @Silentaditya I have a burgundy salary account with Axis - I met 3L+ net salary criteria. It was a simple process.
One Question my monthly income is around 7L+ (Last 5 Years), But i get it as commission (My company don't sign a salary slip or any documents), Would i able convert my account into salary account?

If yes how, thank you 🙂

Nice suggestion!

I keep my card options limited. Its just easier for me to manage my expenses. Now that I have applied for Amazon Pay card, which makes it my 2nd cash back card after Citibank. I think I am content for now. Axis Magnus is doing just fine for me as of now.

The conversion rate is 1:2 and the earn rate is 2 edge miles per Rs100 spend. So, I think its still better than Infinia, DCB or any other cards out there considering Magnus and Reserve Devaluation to be true.
But then Atlas doesn't have any reward multipliers.. Infinia/DCB you get 3x/5x/10x on smartbuy for GVs, flights, hotels.. even 3x on IRCTC..

I should not matter. Your salary slips don't matter. What matters to them is salary credit. That's all. The catch is your company needs to be a banking partner or have some relationship with Bank. Understanding from your post, looks like you are not technically salaried, so your company may not have a tie up. If you are contractor or freelance or someone who works remotely (maybe a developer). You can do this, go to any Axis bank which is in affluent neighborhood such branches have bigger Wealth team for Burgundy and Burgundy Private customers that regular branches. Speak to them that you would like to open up a saving account with them and your ITR is ~INR1.X Cr. It's likely they will make a lot of exceptions for you and provide you Magus LTF or Reserve as FYF.

Already have saving Prestige account opened in Feb 2023, will upgrade in August.

Will try to make their mind.

Thanks ✌️

Folks, I have a Magnus (primary), Atlas, DCB LTF, Tata Neu Infinity LTF, OneCard and my wife has DCB LTF, Amex Plat Travel and ICICI Amazon Pay. In the context of Magnus devaluation, which card should I look at (existing/new) for my primary card? Have yearly spends of ~10-11L, mostly online on travel and shopping.
