AMEX application submitted, What is next?

I already submitted an application for the new AMEX credit card. The application number is generated. What is next procedure?

No, already Joining fee + GST due in the first statement as per the SMS I have already received. Total due is 1180. (1000 + 180GST)

It’s purely Amex missed out that u got charged for card fee but not able to spend anything speak to cc and argue for a 500 reward points they may accept sometimes

Application rejected. My kundli is not proper.
Gave income docs, existing card, proper address proof etc.

Can i ask them to reconsider/review or should i re-apply? @TechnoFino

Contacted customer care regarding reason for rejecting my application. They said they are only able to see that "Income Criteria Not Met" and unable to see specific details.

I informed the income documents (Form 26AS and my bank statement) has income proof many times over the eligibility requirement. She said she does not have further details as the card processing is done by different team.

When I asked when can I apply for AMEX again, she said minimum six months gap to be there after rejection.

Try sending mail to there nodal officer and there customer service head, Maybe they can do something about it..

No. This is normal from Amex. Same happens even on Platinum Charge Card too.

Without knowing card no how to pay bill then
Hope Amex don’t have concept of virtual card too

I enrolled 1 time only in 2021 and getting 1000 extra whenever my spending goes above 20k in that particular billing cycle.

Thanks for the clarification, on the MRCC page, the tnc page does not open, it is showing an error.

Applied mrcc on 28th Sep and got delivered on 1st October evening amex became much fast

No, they are turning out to be like other banks. I am wondering if the card is worth so much money. Is the talk about the best customer service just a hype

I guess its because they are getting too much applications these days, Also not to mention they were on holiday for 2 years 🤫
