Amex January 2025 Offer: 25 MR points for Every ₹100 spent

Just got this email for rewards multiplier.

Seems like they changed from 24X from last year to flat 25 per Rs. 100 now. Don't know if it's account specific.

Terms:
• The ongoing Reward Multiplier benefit of 5X points on American Express® Platinum Card and American Express® Gold Card, and 2X points on other American Express® Proprietary Cards will not be applicable.
• A maximum of 25,000 Bonus Membership Rewards® points can be earned in a calendar month.
• Additional Membership Rewards® points will be credited within 120 business days from the date of transaction.

So basically 12X not as beneficial as expected. I didn’t receive the offer

I don't think amazon vouchers are counted... I read the detailed TnCs and gift cards were excluded in it...

that is for "Redemption".

for earning, only specific merchants (reward multiplier is more or like affiliate site like grabdeal, smartbuy or cashkaro etc. where you have to login -> go to that website > purchase as usual. conditions like; item shouldn't be in cart already, clean session, cookie enable etc. still applies for tracking. If any of them missing then they won't provide any benefits.. applies all affiliate sites and none of them provide any benefits on gift voucher purchases, bill payments, gold coins etc. where no commission to them from those sites and hence no rewards to us).

What he was mentioning was if the RPs were redeemed as apay vouchers then the return would be 8.75%

that is for "Redemption".

for earning, only specific merchants and specific categories listed while traversing from reward multiplier to "that site".

yes its only for shopping. nothing for iphone, gaming consoles, gold coins, bill payments etc. too in those websites.

You'll get 25,000 / 100 * 25 = 6250 points
