I would think many would know..
The thing is it actually displays the otp we enter rather than masking it...which is quite useful..and we can't copy and paste the otp, at least on my mobile...

Recently most payment gateways have disabled paste functionality for OTP. It was much easier to copy paste.

On iOS,it fetches the OTP and I just have to click on the 'suggestions' part of the keyboard just one and it gets pasted and auto-deleted after usage. Works 90% of the time.

Yup the autofill feature works in majority of the cases.

I think this is how banks are supposed to work.

This works better in case for fraud detection as you would know what mode did the hacker use to make the transaction so that you can clean up better.
Axis/SBI/any other bank sending same codes to both places might confuse the user and they would never know what device was targeted.

The worst case of restricting copy/paste is while adding a beneficiary. Very high chance of making mistake in entering account number. I really hate it when system doesn't allow me to paste the account number.
