Amex Plat Travel Annula Fee Waived by spends criteria

Hi Everyone,

My Amex Platinum Travel card annual fee would be posted this month (in Nov), so I called up customer care to review my annual fee options. Customer care gave me 3 options to pick from:
1) Reduced annual fee of 2250 + GST
2) Annual Fee waive off against redemption of 10k reward points
3) Spend 1.5 L in 90 days and get annual fee refunded in 30 days to achieving the spends.

I took the 3rd option, going to spend 1.5 L, mostly on NPS for me and my family members. Also, cherry on top I will be able to hit 1.5 L milestone bonus too.

If you have some genuine spends to be made in the next 3 months, then I think 3rd option is the best...
Otherwise 2nd option...
