Are credit card bill payments affected by bank holidays?

I need to make a payment using my credit card by 31st March and I don't have the limit. I'm trying to pay through various apps and unlike couple of days back when the payments were reflecting instantly, I'm finding the limit not resetting in my card instantly. Are these affected by banking holidays in general?

not usually.. they do settle quickly.. hw r u paying? cred will be fast..

Have tried Cred, Paytm, Payzapp. Whatever used to be instant is taking time today. That's why I'm wondering if it's got to do anything with banking holidays or FY end or something.

It's night that's why it is taking time, it will settle by morning. Try daytime for instant settlement

Yes, they are sometimes but payment date will be the date when you paid

BBPS payments are settled instantly.
Non-BBPS takes time of 3-5 working days. When we say working days, it obviously excludes the bank holidays.

Outward neft will be affected But on 1st April not today.
Imps/rtgs/upi will work just fine.
Mobikwik uses imps. I think cred too. So these 2 will be your best bet.

And if you do payment today, it settles within 2days of due date, it won't show up as late payment. Date of credit will be today only.

3/7 payments I made are reflecting today. 2 of those are from Payzapp reflecting as Online Payment. Unable to identify the 3rd one since it's the same amount. It's through NEFT. Thanks for the response everyone!

Is Payzapp settlement instant? Like Cred and Cheq for non bbps cc billers (Stan C)?

It wasn't instant. And I have made a few more payments now and that also hasn't gone through yet. However, out of all the payments I tried making through CRED, Paytm, Payzapp and even GPay since yesterday, payments done through Payzapp seems to have gone through.

All the payments that I had made last night have gone through(Paytm, Payzapp, Gpay, CRED). I made 4 more transactions today and none of them are reflecting in my card yet. I believe all of them will be posted to my card tomorrow. None of them were instant for some reason! Thanks for the responses.

Kal hdfc Bill pay se Citibank ko kiya tha subah subah. Abhi tak nahin hua hai. No worries as long as it gets credited in next 3-4 days as due date is 5th.

As others have pointed out, it looks like even if it takes 3-4 days to get credited, the date of credit will be considered as the date when we paid. So no worries.
